    Default Items bound to guild

BtGoE or BtGoA ... bound to guild.

Item must belong to the guild you were in when you acquired or equipped the item
True guild items. Can't be destroyed. Can't leave guild while carrying/banking guild items.
If booted, the item goes to the guild leader.

Nope. Enriching yourself by booting guildies with items you may want makes this suggestion best grief troll idea ever.

    Don't join a guild with a d0uche as a guild leader?
I was thinking of items that the guild created together and assigned to individuals. The key is that items can't leave the guild.
They belong to the guild, and a way to retrieve it is having someone in power to make that happen sort of naturally falls on the
    guild leader.

A guild should be more than a place where you get your buffs...

A guild is more than a place where you get your buffs. If you don't see that, you're just a bunch of people sharing an airship.

As a guild leader, I don't want that responsibility.

Horrible, horrible idea. If such items drop, but can never be gotten rid of, eventually everyone's inventory will be completely clogged with unneeded Guild items. There HAS to be a way to get rid of excess. Even Bound-to-Character raid loot can be destroyed!

I don't necessarily object to Guild items (though I don't care enough to actively support it, either), but I am strongly opposed to any implementation that includes "Can't be destroyed."

You know... this could work, if they set it up so that items like (BTCoE, and the like) "Bind to Guild" upon being put in the Guild Chest and then stay Bound to Guild. They could not be sold or auctioned.

This, the "good stuff" that someone might give to the guild, is given to the Guild and stays with the guild.

And if the player leaves the guild, it goes to the guild chest, thus would open a door for some people to give some really great items to their guild, knowing that the Guild will always have them, and they can't be ripped off.

But, like others, there would need to be a commitment by a guild member to give it to the guild, for it to be bound to the guild, it could not be "Bound to Guild" in a dropped/looted state.

How about starting to implement really good items prior to worrying about Bind to xyz?

Nah just have it so the player can't be booted/leave of their own accord until guild items have been removed from the player's inventory.

Do you really not see the problem with that idea?

    Bad idea...

There's many players that are not in any guilds and what to stay that way... They wouldn't be able to use their loot because it has a BTGoA or BTGoE... ( since they don't have any guild. )

There's already enough bound items and binding categories ( more than enough actually... Some of them being just stupid ( *CoV I look at you* ) ) no need for more.
