Im pretty happy with my AA, hes elf pure ranger and I run in FoTW. With pin, Ottos, Adrenaline (with the 10 sec no save melee knockdown) paralyzer imbue, Im a solo machine. I have no problems soloing most EE content. I play a sneaky, divided and conquer style. Pull single EE mob, Ottos stops their advance, pin while they are ottoed and then andrenaline slayer arrow. Pull next single and maybe melee adrenaline knockdown and melee to finish. Theres lots of options for controlling the encounters. AA with FoTW are great for crowd control. And of course I can still kite 20 mobs around while pew pewing when needed.

With 25 different archer builds ( I run 17 and 10 of those a lot )

Anyways guildies warned me of the looming changes and prepare for 17 toons to suck.

I'm not gonna lie ..... I kinda like the changes to the 5 toons I've messed with so far

My pure ranger Ryleagh was the first to go through the changes .... I went from AA to DWS and so far so good.

Maybe it's the fact I don't sit there and crunch numbers like some ( really guys .. Life is too short ) ....

The toon plays nice ... I don't die any more than before in quests.

Would I like slayers that proc'd automatically again ?? Yup !! But just like Jesus that's not coming back either.

The Rangers that enjoy playing archers will struggle and emerge and move on. The number crunchers worried about every point of damage we now don't do will go back to hacking and slashing or spell casting.

We need to unite together to stop us from being downgraded any further. With the recent update we have been nerfed too far. I mean our class is almost unplayable now, the ED (Shiradi) we go into at epic level has been nerfed 2 times now already. We need to organize a riot or something along the lines of what everyone did on wayfinder to keep the hearts and tokens. I know that most of us that plays the Ranger class is the quite type that sit in the dark corners of the tavern and hardly ever speaks, Much like the real life rangers of the movies lol. But we need to stand up and take action and actually say something about this. I propose that all of us log in on Cannith server on the bridge in front of the Lordsmarch bank on 05/01/2014 @ 6m EST and sit there until we get something done about this.
My monk can multiple imbue her handwraps, My ranger used to be able to multiple imbue her arrows now she cant. I used to be able to paralyze the giants of Tor, now she cant. I used to be able to paralyze the undead, now she cant. She used to be able to paralyze dwarves in a relic of a sovereign past, now she cant. She used to be able to paralyze the elementals, now she cant.

And what about our spells? Face it they just suck. The only ones worth anything is Freedom of Movement, Rams might, and maybe Cure serious wounds if you have gear or items that enhances it. But who has the space? After you HAVE to get Accuracy item, Deadly item, Seeking item, then something with a Fortitude, then a Resistance item, then a protection item, and a Natural armor bonus item, then the Will save item, and not to mention the stat items you need WHO has the space on their gear for a Healing amplification Item? I don't.

Oh and have you also noticed your dps is down? I sure have. And its not from NOT having multiple imbued arrows either. My girl used to hit on the bow for 78 pts of dmg. AFTER the update she's hitting for 48 pts of dmg on the bow.

I'm not asking that the developers over power us, I'm just asking for my damm arrows back to the way they was before. Paralyze means just that. To Paralyze. I can live without the multiple imbues. But as for our spells they need some serious work in order to even be viable in epic content. Heck even in heroic content our spells are a joke.
