I am new to casters and would like to make a Sorcerer/Trapper utilizing the Shadar-Kai. Any help would be appreciated.

I normally enjoy posting builds for people who make requests, but in this case I can't in good conscience do it.
This is one of the worst combinations I can think of. There is absolutely no synergy.
Shadar-Kai get a penalty to charisma, which sorcerers need for everything. Rogue is a bad class to multi with sorcerers, who don't have high intelligence or high skill points to keep up trap skills. Fleshy sorcerers have no spell-based self-healing.
If you just want an iconic arcane caster and don't care as much about the specifics, then Shadar-Kai rogue/wizard is a reasonable choice. (18 wiz, 2 rogue for evasion, max int for casting and skills, take Insightful Reflexes for saves, invest heavily in the pale master tree for self healing.) I'd be happy to post some details on that if you'd like, or you can just take a look at EllisDee's PaleTrapper thread and change the race.
Another good iconic arcane is Bladeforged Paladin/Sorcerer -- no penalty to CHA like normal warforged, self-healing with repair/reconstruct spells, good saves due to max CHA combined with paladin's Divine Grace; either just go 18 sorc/2 pal and retain the ability cast 9th level spells or go 16 sorc/2 pal/2 fvs for SP regeneration from Just Rewards or 16 sorc/2 pal/2 monk for excellent survivability with bonus feats and evasion. No trap skills here, but very powerful builds throughout the leveling process and into the endgame.
EDIT: Also, if you're willing to spend an LR + 1 heart, Sun Elf makes a fantastic pale master pure class wizard if you remove the initial cleric level. Able to get maximum DCs due to the high Int.
Yeah, what he said ^
Sorcereor and rogue don't work, but wizard and rogue do. If you want magic + trap skills another option is the artificer class, which has both. It's magic isn't as powerful as a sorceror or wizard though, and you have to buy the class.
