I finally crafted my t3 stuff today; I want to say thanks to basically the whole cannith server that joined my countless runs in thunderholme.
I just want to have my chance to compete now.

I'm gonna post my solo completions with video in case you decide to reopen solo submissions
Unfortunately at this time game mechanics (i.e. the bugs and inconsistency and amount of not-working-as-intended abilities) cannot support reliable tracking and verification of records without undue burden on the players (copious video recording, rebuilding toons to avoid bugged feats/destinies/enhancements). Unless there is a significant shift in dev priorities (fixing bugs has always been a low priority), it is simply not currently feasible to continue speed-record tracking. Trust me, we have tried to work around this but as it currently stands there are numerous bugs, some of which can't even be disabled by the player, which make continued record-keeping untenable.

I hope that we can continue to petition the devs to make these fixes however at present it seems that any hope for a greater focus on bug fixing will be quashed by the mass chorus of the casual army demanding new low level content (see 3BC).

So since the speed record thread was closed there has been some advancement on the part of turbine in fixing some of the most egregious gameplay-related bugs. There is still a long way to go and there are still multiple bugs persisting. However, with U23 coming up, I wanted to re-open the discussion about whether the number of the bugs in the game are still at a level incompatible with record keeping. The two questions I wanted to put forth are:

    1) Should we consider re-opening the record-thread, even with the persistence of some bugs, but with a higher level of proof required, i.e. video evidence? Only when there is a fundamental shift in how turbine approaches bug management should we then consider reducing the requirements?

    2) Should we accept some bugs as here to stay? The main one I'm talking about is the doublestrike bug which as many of you know cannot be turned off by the player. I'm not sure if it's still in the game (haven't checked since yesterday's patch) but I have lobbied for its change without much success and I don't see a whole lot of other people caring about it so I'm wondering what public opinion is on this topic and whether it's just one of those quirks that we need to accept as here to stay.

The other issue I wanted to bring up was possible expansion of the tracked quests. Previously we have been taking requests on a rolling basis and whenever ~3 or more people expressed interest in tracking a quest it has been added to the list. What do you guys think of the current sample of tracked quests?

Some of us get really laggy when recording a video so it gets pretty difficult to do a good zerg run while doing so, but this seems to be the only way to prove some sort of legitimacy right now. This thread was quite fun, would be interesting to see it come back to life.

Sadly, we kinda have to. The doublestrike bug (I highly doubt that they fixed it yesterday since it was more of an emergency patch) gives twf a high advantage in dps just like the eldritch knight bug and the Mortal Fear bug but it seems like it wont be fixed for awhile, and there is not much that monks can do to prevent it from happening.

So in my opinion, we could give it another try.
