In my area schools are banned from using Native American related mascots. Even if the local tribes have no problem with them....

Yah, but the private sector has no such limitations. There was just a Lone Ranger Movie, where Johnny Depp played Tonto.

Hey you can't say "stupidly", you might offend "intelligence challenged" people!
My take on "the grind": https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post6220972

Ordinary humans have inhibitions that serve as a buffer against what we know is bad behavior.
However, some people, by blaming others for their own bad behavior, develop a thought pattern that allows them to override self-control in order to achieve a selfish end.
    - My opinion on exploiters and cheaters blaming SSG for unfair punishment.

My apologies to anyone who is intelligence challenged for any implication on my part for being associated with this over the top politically correctness we all have to suffer from, I know you are better people then that.

Actually this is true, as the intent was to find a water route to Asia, and when they landed they thought it was a part of India, hence the term Indian, later to become "American Indian", later expanded to be "Native American Indian".

However, this image is making me wonder why I have not seen any Simpsons or Family Guy spoofs of "Cowboys and Indians" playing up on the joke of Indians being people from India.
