Yea, it's really sad it got released like that and you have to actively work around stuff to get a completion without GM help. And even than who knows what other bugs might be there...

However it is possible to complete without GM help, we had a nice 50 min completion yesterday on EH without any hiccups.
Maybe some helpful tips:
- Don't solve 2 of the random puzzles in a stage (can cause the dragon to completely disappear)
- avoid red alert at all costs, red alert usually causes crippling lag and results in a guaranteed party wipe (this is very important in the split up phase were you go for the real phylactery)
- never get the dragon close to the ledge of the castle where you can fall off (can cause him to get stuck)
- never leave the dragon alone on his side

I've been in 4 raids where the chests didn't spawn after the dragons went down. In all 4 cases the GMs responded within 20 minutes and fixed the issue.

That's exactly the OPs problem. Currently it's likely you will need a GM to get your loot or even the completion on any of the raids.
If you do it in off support hours there are no GMs that can help you!

Well, I even went vip for the very first time in my ddo career to be able to run with my guild because turbine refused to comment whether or not the packs would be available to premiums at release. Had to be certain.

Got all content unlocked as premium so vip was totally unnecessary and had approx 5k tp to blow out on the packs anyway. So mehh. Needless to say I cancelled vip as soon as I got it.

If they had fixed the charachter copy tool for lammania, more people would have found those bug and get fixed before the live release, but apperently they just don't care much.

No. Some of those bugs were simply not on the last lammania build. They sneaked changes in last second.

Character copy needs a fix though, no question

At least for our group I can say:
6 runs on lamma - raids completed without issues (some minor issues but nothing where you need a GM)
3 runs on live - 1 fine, 2 bugged

It's not immediately obvious to me whether the lack of live support during off hours extends to GMs, but we waited over an hour last night before people started giving up.

In our case, the dragon fell off the ledge, making the raid not completable.

That's ********. We had to wait an hour yesterday for the same issue and they didn't fix it.
