Default Hide and Seek Trivia Events

An Update in accordance to the Events:
Due to a recent 90 day suspension, regarding the latest Exploitations. I will be unable to host the events for Cannith, Ghallanda, Khyber, Sarona, Thelanis, and Wayfinder. These will be Postponed until a later date (Mid July), If even able to be done at that time. Apologizes in advance..

    Greetings (Server),

Today I bring the news of a Hide & Seek based Trivia Event.

    Rulings are as follows:

All Contestants should join the UserChat /joinchannel Events

There will be Clues given as to my whereabouts in the form of "I-Spy." For example, using the clue of "I Spy an Elven Retainer"

This clue should lead the contestants towards House Phiarlan, as this is where the Retainers tend to be (From the Carnival Adventure Pack)

The first 5 people to find my Character named HidenSqueak will be asked to stand in a certain area, based on which location I am in at the time.

~The Marketplace - Stand under the big tent, near the Subteranne access point
~House K - Stand near the Guild Vendors
    ~House J - Stand in the Garden
    ~House P - Stand in the Ampitheatre
    ~House D - Stand near the Tower
~House C - Stand around the Monolithe of the Bull
~The Twelve - Stand near the Lake of Lava
~The Harbor - Dance around the Fountain of Names

Once there are 5 Contestants who have found my location, they will be invited to a group where upon they will roll a D20 for an Initiative Check. Once the die have been cast, a question will be asked. The questions will vary based on Lore from DDO. Going back to the Example given, a question asked could be along the lines of "Other than House Phiarlan, which other House also bears the Mark of Shadow?" to which the answer would be "House Thuranni" The person with the highest Initiative will answer first, followed by the next highest until somone answers right. If no one answers right on a question, a new question will be asked after a new roll for Initiative.

The Contestant with the most points, obtained for each correct answer, after 10 questions wins the round and will recieve a prize from the current stash of goodies.

I will perform 5 rounds, each round entailing two winners. The first person from each round to locate me will recieve a Wayfinders Scepter. The person who obtained the most points from the trivia portion will receive a Point Code valued at 500 TP. Good luck to all who participate

    Talking I might go!

Wow, what luck. Tomorrow is most likely a snow day, so I might actually get to participate in the Orien one

I apologize if i was unclear by stating you could not attend a second round, though.. that is exactly what i said.. If you feel like it was a lie, im sorry for that.. You had your chance to be in the event in round 1, you however left group after being informed you would not receive a scepter, as you were not first to find me.

On a seperate note, winners are as follows:

    Round 1
Marshmallon, Was first to find me, and the person with highest points after the Trivia event. Congratulations Marshy ^_^

    Round 2
Tagho, was the first to find me, and won himself a scepter of Wayfinder
Cadur - Person with the most points at the end of round 2, Congratulations and use those points wisely

    Round 3
Leolionxxx - First to find me, Obtained a Scepeter of Shiny colors (wayfinder scepter)

There was a 3 way split with round 3, and so appointed codes to all 3 as follows

Dayre - also known as Kitteh.. Congrats ^,^
Torimi - a quick wit with the fingers... answered the questions she knew with blinding speed
Ziind - A poor lad, who just could not get initiative check in the previous round, though had a strong comeback near the end of round 3. Congrats sir

I was intending to do a round 4 and 5, however Erofen was being a sourpuss.. and giving away my locations of hiding.. it would have been fruitless to do the last rounds because of this.. im sorry for those who were not able to attend due to this issue :c

I should further mention, that due to a limited amount of contestants, i re-opened round 3 to all previous players, though not winners. This was about 5 minutes after the ordeal with Ero, in which i decided he would not be in round 3, due to his harassing behavior after being told no initially to round 3

As a bit of advice, it might be helpful in further events to do so in a raid group instead of in a channel, that way only the people you intend to take part in the event will actually see the clues. This raid party could be lead by an alt character via dual boxing so that the players of the event are unable to see where your main character is located. Just a suggestion, hope it helps!
    Keep on rollin'.

Argonnessen Event has Ended, Congratulations to all who attended

    Round 1

Yaego Winner of TP Code, Answered 7 out of 10 questions with blinding speed.. almost as if he had the answers before I finished the questions

    Round 2

Creatmultas winner of TP, Much like Yaego, answered swiftly, my interest was perked slightly

    Round 3

Imtheseeker winner of TP, Managed to find me within seconds of posting a clue as to where i was, It had me wondering

    Round 4

Readytowork winner of TP, Yet another quick wit, my temper was flared. He knew the answers faster than i could put the questions there.

    Round 5

Tazy winner of TP, Located me fast, yet tripped a few lines. She still prevailed once given the time.

So your saying, to limit this to 12 people only, instead of the entire server.. i dont follow that logic..
