I know it can happen but in the yeah and a half that i been playing i never had this come up before and as a VIP i thought we were always allowed o log in?
Is this for real or is it some kinda genuine server problem?

I believe it is a server problem of some kind. Seems to happen a fair bit lately.
DDO: If a problem cannot be solved by the application of DPS, you're not applying enough.

VIP suffering the same problem. Guildy had the same issue a few days ago... I hope it takes less time for me to log in that it did him.

Close to 600 showing in the Who panel. ~120 at level 4 or lower. ~40 at level 1.

I am gonna say this again...
Because it took me a number of attempts to get logged in again this afternoon. This is NOT KEWL and needs to be remedied, Turbine! Whatever the problem is, it is not getting any better, it is getting worse. I really love this game, pay good money to be a VIP, pay even more money to purchase TP. Most of my guildies are the same. This is not supposed to affect VIP's, but it does. And sure as hockeypucks this should not be happening weekly or more often basis!
I was really looking forward to the new expansion, and exploring it with my guild. Now I am not sure.
