Default FvS Melee Leveling Build Feedback

I'm planning on trying to do a melee based FvS build for Manram's next life (so he will always have some spell points and can use healing cocoon in future lives). He's always been a dwarven waraxe wielding 2WF so I decided to continue with that. The build is only a leveler (1-20), so functionality in Epic content really doesn't matter. Also added trap abilities for he extra XP during leveling + evasion. I've never really built a Divine melee type, so I'd appreciate any feedback...

Extend isn't particularly useful as you have plenty of SP to recast buffs as needed.

Toughness isn't necessary anymore and To-hit isn't much of an issue with FvS with Divine Might (spell or enhancements). You can easily swap out Oversized TWF and WF: Slash

Feats to replace them would be meta-magics - Emp Heal, Maximize and Quicken would be my choices. Even with a lousy DC from dumped WIS, bladebarrier and cometfall are still excellent for heroics as mobs don't have terribly inflated HP so even half dmg will cut them down quickly. Against bosses you have no-save damage spells like searing light and divine punishment. Last feat you could keep toughness, or take dodge or stunning blow.

Throw Your Weight Around gives you CON to DMG, but to-hit is still STR. Getting Divine Might will allow you to add your CHA mod to strength, easily outpacing however much you can raise CON especially with +5 tomes your build seems to indicate. I'd start stats like this:
STR 16 + All Level Ups
    DEX 15
    CON 16
    INT 14
    WIS 8
    CHA 12

Hold off on the 2nd rogue level. You can easily get by the lower levels without evasion. Take the 2nd rogue level at around level 7 or 8 to raise key skills up.

Skills, you may want to forego concentration if you're taking quicken. Besides the rogue skills, you should focus on Heal and Spellcraft to raise the power of your heal and offensive spells.

I would definitely dump WIS for more STR; you aren't a DC-based caster, you don't need so much WIS.

If you don't care about epic levels, you may want to consider a more heavily-MCed build, such as extra rog lvls for more skill pts. After all, once you have Heal and maybe Blade Barrier, what else do you really need from extra FvS levels?

Also consider rgr splash instead of ftr for the +10% offhand procs from Tempest; you could also squeeze in Manyshot with some feat swapping.

I had included Extend for some of the shorter divine based melee spells (Divine Favor, Recitation, Prayer, etc.) - mostly laziness.

Will Ranger get me Dwarven Waraxe proficiency? For some reason I thought it wouldn't but I think I'm wrong...

Yes, Dwarf Rangers get Dwarven Waraxe proficiency automatically. Ranger gets full Martial Proficiency and Dwarves with full Martial Proficiency get free DAxe proficiency. I am not sure that it works with Enhancement-granted Martial Proficiency (e.g. EK), but it definitely does with Ranger.

I don't understand if this is a leveling build why dump so many tomes in it that a waste they don't carry over to the next life when u buod a ton for leveling u mostly on add just enough tomes to pick up feats and no more. u have more then 4000 points in tomes if that is even enough so either drop all the unneeded tomes or plan to run it into epics and save the dough for the life u are planning on running for epics.

I was looking for a build to level when I seen this and said wow look at the tomes in this build no way. I need a leveling FS as i just got back in the game and have a human soul that needs rebuilding is there anyway to make this works really just to get to 20 make green steel and tr

Tomes now persist across TRs (and have for a while now); there's no longer any reason to save them for your final life.

Actually tomes do carry over into future lives. It is one of their key features. In future lives they also effectively apply their bonus slightly earlier too. E.g. You can only use a new +4 tome at level 15 after you have leveled, so it does not help you pick up feats at level 15 in that life, but in the next life the +4 applies right when you level so it can help you qualify for your level 15 feat (and ditto for the +1 at 3, +2 at 7, +3 at 11, and +5 at 19). This is a character who has completed several True Reincarnations already (see the intro text and notice that the build is 36-pt), so he has accumulated those tomes in prior lives. The tomes are necessary for this build and the OP is really stretching the attributes so it is not going to be friendly to a first life character or one with less advanced tomes.

What are you looking to build your Human FvS to be? Melee like this? Do you have a specific weapon you want to use like this one does? Would a Caster build be okay? Do you plan to be a healer for those Shroud runs you mention? What is your current level, level split (i.e. are you pure or already multiclassed), number of build points (i.e. 28, 32, 34, or 36) and what sort of LR are you planning on using (if any)? Do you want to add trap skills like this build has? All of those would be helpful for suggesting an alternate build that would help you level to 20 without being quite as tricked out as this character is.
