The trading card game fits in one slot - its all in a bag. And if you can't deal with something that takes up one inventory slot, you can take the 5 cards you get when you receive it, combine 4 to make stuff, and destroy the rest. Problem solved.

Ditto. Agreed. Had enough cake, I still have one or two that don't work.

First cake, only a +1 tome. Unless you mis-read the choice for Wisdom.

Second cake, +2 tomes. Worked great. Until it didn't.

Now, have a chance for +3 tomes.

I say, give me the chance for a +3 tome.. Do I expect one? heck no. Whatever the lamest reward is, that is probably the first one I will get. Since I don't like Slayer Boosts, or Bells of Opening, or Healing Elixirs, or Siberys Spirit Cakes, or Bracelet of Friends, that is what I am going to get.

Temp laborers picked up at home depot/7-11 make $10 an hour in this country.

There are a whole lot more underemployed people than there are rich people. The skew is actually toward to bottom end. Someone working 40 hours a week flipping burgers even though they have a high school or better education, is pulling the numbers lower than the richest 1 percent that have the highest wages.

This should be rather obvious to anyone that considers it for a moment, there are a LOT MORE people working at Burger places, and running the cash register at stores in our country than there are CEO's.

A lot of rich sole proprietors pay themselves an outrageously low wage so they can avoid paying personal income taxes on top the the taxes their businesses pay, and indeed those same people often get thousands back from the government because they carefully craft their income and writeoffs to get the best EIC they can. Of course their company provides lots of business lunches, and a company vehicle, and hey the fuel, insurance, etc. tends to all get paid for by the company as well.

You don't get rich by writing checks as the saying goes.

Indeed there are people around here who complain just to hear themselves complaining... and they are often the same people. One wonders how miserable someone has to be to see the bad in absolutely everything.

All I was doing was disagreeing that the average wage is 20.00 an hour most don't earn anywhere near that.

Most if not all of those folks are gone. The people left who provide negative feedback from time to time do so because the game moved away from what they liked when they started playing. Much of what gets labeled and dismissed as "complaining" should be reviewed and listened to objectively rather than judged and dismissed. The first stage of problem resolution is identifying the problem. Each time Turbine reversed one of their unpopular game designs, you have those who get labeled "complainers" to thank for it. For instance, if not for them, your torque would be a temporary sp procing item right now, and all clickies would be gone. Everyone who farmed a bauble, or a ROSS....yeah you get the picture.

The dice included in the pack does NOT fit in the bag. Normally, I wouldn't complain about it, but because of the crappy nature of the trading card game as well as the fact that the dice ONLY works during the anniversary event, I am complaining about it. Unless the dice self-destructs after the event is over, but I highly doubt they have that in mind.

And still I hope that they're going to scrap the trading card idea for just plain old cake. I don't care if it gives the plain old tomes, pots and other misc. stuff it always does, at least it works smoothly and isn't a crappy system to use.

I'm pretty clearly not talking about constructive criticism from balanced viewpoints. I'm talking about the people who see no good in anything, constantly whine and complain about the same stuff over and ov... oh wait... never mind, I can see why you've popped up to defend them... But hey if you want to own it by being defensive about it, it's not like we all don't already know.

For the bad design choices that were shouted down we can thank the 90% of the player base that DOESN'T USUALY shout about stuff, but got motivated to do so. The chronic belly achers were just additional voices in the din when it comes to most of the changes that happened due to their extreme unpopularity.

In fact I'd say the chronic complainers have less impact on the game than any other segment.

What I don't know is if when the spins stop at the end of March, how long after will they give to crunch cards?

You won't be able to get new cards through the Magic d20 when the event is over, but presumably interested folks will have leftovers, and you will be able to continue to crunch them after the event.

Default Now that we are three days in...

When is the trickle down econo... I'm mean DOOOOoommmm going to hit? I have been hoarding portable holes in the hopes that one day that might climb in value and I can one day afford me a fancy blue dragon helm (I am looking for one o'them fancy ones that is epic and all, not one that is 14th level that only does lightning bolt or something stupid like that. Don't get me wrong, I have one of the 14th level ones just for parading around in meridia, and Amrath, and Korthos, and Reaver's Refuge to show how uber I am, but my guildies make fun of me because they know it isn't the real one). But now that people have 22 accounts I just know they are going to use their cards to create more portable holes effectively destroying the market and crushing my dreams of ever having one of those fancy blue dragon helms.

So, after an intense three hour session with my therapist, I have kind of gotten over it. My therapist used a brilliant diversion technique opening my eyes to the awesome theory of trickle down economics. So I am heavily anticipating trickle down economics helping me in my epic (EN or EC please, I don't like too much danger) quest/saga/mission for a blue dragon helm. I can't wait for all of those +3 skill tomes, +3 stat tomes, major pots, jeweler's kits and everfull flasks of deathward to hit the aution house. I have to be honest, I can live without all that stuff, but a blue dragon helm... that is where it is at. All the other characters are going to want to be me, and the girls are going to want to group with me. Anyway, back to my point bewfore I started daydreaming about that sweet helm: when all that stuff hits the acution house, people are going to selling off all of their stuff (which hopefully means their blue dragon helm) in order to afford all this awesome anniversary stuff, and that my friends is my big chance. In the name of Greenwood, it cannot happen soon enough.

Since people have 22 accounts, lets see that is 7 cards on the first day on the main account for each server if their main is VIP, and 6 from their other accounts. On day two that is 23 more cards, and then 23 more today. So in theory the player with 22 accounts could have 179 cards. I have been watching the auction house, when I am not grouping, and I have yet to see the cards ruining the economy nor have I seen people with extra +3 tomes, or extra major pots, nor have I seen a single person throw a tornado, nor have I seen a single person brag about their enromous gem bag. I don't get it. When are we going to see this event effect the game, allowing me to finally get my helm... I mean when are we going to finally see the DOOOOOoooom?

You are the one choosing not to play alts.

Casual player now investing way less than I used to into the game, playing 1-3 months at a time and still want nothing to do with Reaper. #improvepuggrouping#alldifficultiesmatter

    Why 22 and not 55 or 33?

We really need to get Francis aka boogie2988 to join us in DDO to shake things up!

Logging into 23 accounts and doing the exact same thing 23 times proved to cause death by boredom.
