    . . . as long as you have that insanely stupid timer after manyshot.

    Was going to post the same thing. Doesn't matter how big the doubleshot bonus is if a Ranger's best ability cancels it out.

    Keep insanely stupid timer after 10k stars but remove it for manyshot, and introduce a couple more doubleshot bonuses or effects?

    Or just add a reduction to the manyshot penalty timer on lvl 20 or even 15 of ranger....

    So basically, they make the AA capstone not worth taking for an AA, as it kills their most useful dps ability. Sorry, I would not give up Manyshot when I need it for doubleshot at random, often when it's not needed (like the old Slayer arrow, which had a bad habit of only showing up on mobs who were all but dead).

    And they wonder why every AA has a Monk splash. First the AA capstone didn't work, they fix it, and now it's broken again by design.

    Yup.

    Remove the insanely stupid double-shot blackout timer.

    Give a lower cooldown from MS at 15 and another at 20 ranger.

    And Nerf monks, just because.

    I stopped playing my monk thrower because of the timer. Basically made 10,000 stars worthless.

    My arty on the other hand, does not suffer a timer on the endless fussilade. It will be my only ranged toon ever.

    I should qualify that 20% double shot (25% with the other tiers in AA) still sucks, but only for characters that use manyshot. Benefits could be provided to throwing star and xbow users, however. For example, this offers very strong incentives to go elf or half elf, get +25% doubleshot from the Elf AA core abilities, and make a Slaying Star/Sniper Shot/Adrenaline character that doesn't use 10k stars. I'm not in love with the idea of more FOTW ranged builds in this world, but I'm fairly certain that it will be (and already is) impossible to beat those types of builds when it comes to thrower DPS.

    Ahh, but doesn't Fusillade have a limit to how many times you can use it between shrines? I seem to remember having only so many uses on my arty, whereas multishot just has the timer(s) and unlimited uses.
    Fusillade also has a much shorter duration...you really don't get all that many extra shots off with it during that time.

    The blackout timer is annoying, yes...but considering that plinking with a bow is akin to tickling a mob to death between multishots, I really don't notice it on my AA.

    Really we have been saying this all along !! Doubleshot was a great idea wrongly implemented but with a few tweaks it could fix the disparity between pure/monks and other builds as well !!

    REMOVE THE DEBUFF FOR MANYSHOT , Leave it on 10k stars but only for bow usage as we wouldn't want the thrower builds to be at a disadvantage .

    People will still play monkchers !!

    10k vs lets say 100% doubleshot would be close , But 10k users would still get to use doubleshot 1/2 as much so it balances out a bit , But people would still play monkchers for the extra feats , Extra crit x , Extra weapon dmg increases , better evasion , Heal amp , Run speed , etc ,etc

    Pure Rangers in both AA and DWS should be able to reach 75-80% doubleshot at end game , 100% if they explicitly build for it imo !!! 40-50 for repeater classes if built for it !

    Ive even suggested that if you were to make it so we could break 100% and have 110% to add a 10% chance for a third arrow but that's just me spitballing !!

    Start with the first things mentioned and we could take it from there!!
