I wouldn't see that as a boo. I like the prizes as so far. And thinking about better than cake: waaaaay better than the cake prizes.

What I would hope is the dice could be passed from character to character on an account, and get a roll per day. So you'd log in with all your alts, take the dice from your shared bank, roll, pass on and move along.

Leaving the cards not bound would allow the trading they want people to do in order to make combos.

I think they were booing at the BTC part not the prize itself. I would prefer all prizes either be unbound or at least BTA so I don't have to worry about which toon I am redeeming them on.

Reason I ask is the old egg hunt one claimed to be bound when it was in fact not. If I remember correctly you could even put them up on the AH.

It states it's BTC, but I never actually tried giving it to another character to be sure.

You do know he is talking about alt accounts, you only get one dice per account. This is why for me its the worst DDO birthday, all the other ddo birthdays all my alts got a present.

So you dont mind waiting two days to get a prize and thats if you not unlucky and get the same card twice? and if you have the time to log in each day.

Also i just thought if its one roll per account and you have alts on other servers then will they get a roll or even get a bag/die?

I'm sure there will be plenty of cards on the AH for insane prices for people that don't want to wait. Cards that are part of extremely popular combinations will be worth quite a lot. Also, you get 5 cards to start so that's 2.5 prizes right away. I'm sure there are players rolling up alt accounts just to double their cards as well.

I sure as heck don't. That would be extremely disappointing for the players with the resources it will take to acquire a 9 and 10 card, as +3 tomes aren't particular rare nor valuable.

Show me a single +5 (or a even a randomly-selected shiny new +6 tome), and then I'd be impressed with a tome prize for this.

If they won't fix it, after beign told how to reproduce it, this means its WAI.

And there's not much difference between mailing d20s from new accounts to main, and logging to each of them separately to roll and send card via mail.

Well if this list does not change once this goes live, I only have to hunt down 5 cards out of 10 Kuo-Toa, Achaierei, Beholder, Kobold, and Dragon. This could be a "fun" free gift, provided it last about 2 weeks to give people enough rolls (if it is 1 per server, if 1 per character, I would just make a bunch of throw away characters). The real quest is how much lag will this create?

Time to creater infinite number of f2p accounts.

getting past the minimum lvl 4 makes infintie accounts a bit... tedious...
