    Default More Cosmetic Slots

Currently we have armor and helm. Armor is great, works beautiful. Helm is another story, it covers hats, masks, and goggles. Why not have Helm just cover the head and make additional slots for face and eyes. Finally why not make a weapon and shield slot as well?

Moar! I agree. I want to be able to wear my Brown Hat and blue sunglasses at the same time! Also it would be cool to wear the brown hat with the glowing eyes as well. In general I wish there were moar cosmetics in game.

Yep, you got me to loose my innocence. Now I want cosmetic bracers and boots! And the ability to quick change outfits. Too many toons look the same. Adding boots and bracers to the mix of cosmetics will create more appearance combinations.

I know it's odd to say this, but I don't spend my $ on timers, tomes, and such, but would budget money for cosmetic gear (and inventory space, spell component bags, scroll cases and potion cases).

I agree, would be great to have a main hand slot and off hand slot... that way you can look like you are wielding whatever you choose to be wielding... I think it should be restricted to the same 'style' though, so you cannot dual wield short swords and have a warhammer and shield for cosmetic... trying to code the appearance of a person wielding a single one handed weapon while doing TWF attacks would probably be more than we should ask of the team at Turbine, right? But, if you are wielding TWF daggers, and wanna look like you are using scimitars, go for it... if you are using epic fury of the flame, and wanna look like you're using ESOS, go for it! Etc...

Also, when are we getting an appearance for Cloaks? Been waiting since 2006 for that...

I think they talked about that before, but not gonna frustrate myself with the new Search box.

Basically there were issues with clipping and making it look right with other animations/skins. Became a choice of cloaks or <something else> and they went with the <something else>.

Many other MMOs have an entire Cosmetics page that can be toggled on and off for toons. Every item of clothing has a cosmetic equivalent and its subsequent slot on the character's cosmetics page.

Many other MMOs don't have DDO's build option and play style variety.

I have the feeling the cosmetic system has been abandoned all together. It's been a very long time since anything new was released and many of the old cosmetics still have not been converted to the new system. I don't understand why they don't want my money.

would not the cosmetic equipment need to look good first? More options for cosmetics would be nice but considering most of the cosmetic stuff looks bad in the first place, they need to get some fashion police first.
