    Default Togg, The Winter Wolf

    Background:
Many of you may not think druid are any good at dps and you were right up until when 2wf began working with animal forms. This was a huge boost to dps and put druids back in the game when it came to dps.
This is an advanced build which is not one I would suggest if you are new or uncomfortably with EEs, as that is the goal of this build.

    The Build
    13 Druid 6 Ranger 1 Monk
    Human Lawful Neutral

    Starting Stats(36Pts)
Str:17 Left over Level ups here
Dex:14(need at least a +3 tome to get GTWF)
Con:16(Need either +5 tome or a couple level ups to get Epic Toughness)
    Int:10
    Wis:13
    Cha:8

Skills: Balance UMD Concentration Heal Spot

    Class Progression:
    DMDDDDDDDDRRRRRRDDDD

    Feats (In Order)
    Empower Healing
    Quicken
    Power Attack
    Cleave
    Adept Forms
    Great Cleave
    Improved Critical
    Master Forms
    GTWF
    Overwhelming Crit
    Natural Fighting

For Level 26,27, and 28 feats you have two options to either go
    Toughness
    Epic Toughness
    PTWF
    or
    PTWF
    Natural Fighting
    Forced Escape
    either way would be good.

    Epic Destiny:
    Legendary Dreadnought
Make sure you have Haste Boost, Devastating Crit, and Masters Blitz
    Twists
    Sense Weakness
    Dance of Flowers
    Primal Scream

    Enhancements:
    Human Tree:
    Damage Boost
    Improved Recovery
    Nature's Warrior:
    4 Cores
    Extra Wild Empathy 3/3
    Shifting Rake 1/3
    Flight 3/3
    Vengeful Hunter 3/3
    Action Boost Double Strike 3/3
    Fight 3/3
    Fatal Harrier 3/3
    Str 2/2
    Essence of the Shrike 2/2
    Essence of the Turtle 1/2
    Alpha Strike 3/3
    Celebrity 3/3
    Natural Adept 1/1
    Deepwood Stalker
    3 Cores
    Stealthy 3/3
    Increased Empathy 3/3
    Versatile Empathy 2/2
    Favored Accuracy 3/3
    Favored Damage 3/3
    Killer 3/3
    Tempest:
    2 Cores
    Whirling Blades 1/1
    Improved Reaction 2/3
    Ninja Spy:
    First Core
    Shintao:
    First Core
    Deft Strikes

    Spells:
    Only mentioning the important ones
    Jump, Rams Might
    Lesser Restore, Resist Energy, Barkskin
    Protection From Energy
    Freedom of Movement
    Cure Critical, Deathward
    Fire Shield, Frostbite
    Regenerate

    This build has:
    100% offhand hit
    8d6+13 Sneak Attack Damage
A 6 sec cooldown Bluff Trigger
High Base Damage and a good crit profile (currently sitting at 4.5(17-20)x3 on my build)
    A Decent Ac
    Great Healing Due to Regenerate
Has High Doublestrike- 6%+6%+3%+9%+5%+0-20% Depending on Killer+ 44% every 5mins= Anywhere from 29%-93%
Amazing Damage With Blitz, Fatal Harrier, and Killer going

    Gear:
    Displace clickies for EEs
Weapons- Either Antipodal or Celestial+GS With Pos SP and 20%+30% Heal amp
    Black Dragon Armor and Helm
    Planar Focus of Prowess
There are many choices to make with gear and i doubt many of you will have as much as me, so just look for high STR, Con, Deadly Accuracy, Resistance, and HP.

I have soloed EEDA in 24 mins with build though I messed up the screen shot so i will get around to doing it again sometimes. But this currently the best time I know of and proves that Druids can DPS with the best of them and also survive while doing that dps.
Edit: Thread showing EEDA solo https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...Druid-EE-Solos
Thanks for reading, comments and questions are welcome.

This looks like a well thought-out and fun build.

I worry about the future of this build as we have Dev Feedback that 2WF and Animal Forms working together is not WIA.

Would be a shame if it got nerfed.

    https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post5110235

The druid's animal form has feats that are meant to compensate for the lack of Two Weapon Fighting support. The change which allows Two Weapon Fighting feats to apply to animal form attacks is not working as intended, and is under investigation. It's too early to say when or if it will change, but you can officially designate this as "not working as intended." Thanks!

Am confused why you took Sense weakness though, or did I miss something?
I see two drawbacks with this build
    1. No evasion
Yeah this is a typical issue but I guess if you can manage to either manually dodge the attacks or just kill it before it kills you this isnt an issue.
    2. Low saves
From an aerial view it looks like this would be an issue but I guess if your abble to solo EE DA then it musnt be a real big of an issue.

One last thing, do you take advantage of having many shot as well or no?

Holy ****, the more I look at this idea actually is making me think about 16druid/2mnk/2fighter (or ranger) thoughts? would get earthquake that way, along with heal AND regenerate...mhm...

I've debated a number of druid 15+ builds (Earthquake FTW!); in this case, monk 2 / rgr 3 / druid 15 gets you 100% offhand, Evasion, lvl 8 spells, etc. If & when Turbine nerfs wolf form (again), I'd switch to unarmed water elemental form instead.

Sense Weakness is a big dps boost. Having no evasion on this build is not an issue for this build mostly because you can just put on fire shield and heal through it. The low saves can be solved by playing smart. And to be far they aren't even that low i usually run at about 60/53/50 which is not perfect but its enough. Also this build does not use manyshot as it would be a decrease in dps rather than an increase.

Glad to see more melee druid splits! I have run a 13druid/6monk/1fvs but is now in a TR process to try out a 9/9/2 version.

    Couple of thoughts and ideas:
I ran with cocoon twisted and i found that while regenerate was nice I hardly ever used it. I managed to solo tank quite a few nasty bosses without it. As above im not trying out a build with only 9 druid levels, I'm not sure if i will miss those casters levels or not.

No stunning fist is a big build question, have you tried running with and without it?

Since you don't run stunning fist try out balanced attacks (in primal) instead of sense weakness, with such a high attack rate the stunning might prove very nice.

I fell in love with the dodge + 4 good legs combo that you can get in natures warrior, it was sooo nice.

since you are not going for manyshot do ranger lvls 5 and 6 add much to your setup? You could drop them in favor of more monk lvls, also some druid lvls could be droped to get upto 6 monk lvls for the bonus feats and shadow fade if you wanted to go that rout.

I never had much positive to say about celerity, i guess you could dump it for boss fights.

You will get more dmg using magic fang then you will with that wolf form cold breath thing, especialy while blitz is running. Magic fang also boosts up your spell power if you have devotion slotted into your wraps.

How do you find killer stacking up, is it working out for you well?

PS: To thoes of you who talk about an earthquake druid wolf form, it would be really hard to pull off. You kinda have to specialize 100% into evocation DC to land that, im talking destiny, twists, 3 feets, gear, water elmental form, lvl ups, everything. While a wolf form DPS build your so diffrent in all these ways. Sleet storm, while no where as good as earthquake can be a solid means of CC.

    Good luck!
PSS: the tanking potential of a build like this is really impressive as well, I don't know if you have explored that much but i have self tanked and solo healed myself (sometimes in bear form) for the green dragon in don't drink the water, that insane hobgob at the start of cabal for one, and the crazy assassin in wheloon that spikes for 700.

    Edit:
Also check out this post for some numbers on attacks/min if you haven't seen it yet.

I have also tried out 2 other druids before i tried out this one. They were 9 druid 6 monk 5 rogue and 13 druid 6 monk 1 rogue and while i like the 9/6/5 build it didnt not have enough survivability in EEs because one hit in ee and your cocoon is gone and that didnt heal me enough. When i switched it to the 13/6/1 build i really liked the healing ability of regenerate because it doesnt go away and you know you will healing for the next 10 secs. The only down side of that 13/6/1 build was lower dps. You could always have both but i find that regenerate is better in the harder EEs.

I also tried stunning fist on both of those builds and could never get it high enough to be any use in EEs. Also about dodge i would take it if i had room in the feats but as it is right now i wouldnt want to give anything up for it.
Ranger levels 5 and 6 give me free itwf and also the third core ability of DWS which is amazing as it gives you a free bluff ability every 6 secs.
Killer is a great combo with fatal harrier and master's blitz so it works out wonderfully.
Celebrity is nice for boss fights and not much else but when you can hit about 90% doublestrike its an nice increase to dps.
I havent thought about balanced attacks so i will try it out.
