CoVs are easy to gather, all you need to do is step outside of EHs.

People running EEs are rewarded with lack of grind, people who can only manage EH are punished with extended grind, and that's how its supposed to be.
And people that pay money avoid all the grind, but it doesn't make it an achievement. You might have a point if the store hearts didn't exist. Those that play higher difficulties would be earning hearts faster. Since you can just go buy the hearts and have ZERO grind, it invalidates your argument that earning coms is an accomplishment that "unskilled casuals" can't achieve.

    1. only managing eh has a lot to do with which sphere you are trying to get a pl in. Take a centered kensai out of LD and put him in fatesinger, he isnt going to be soloing EE .

    2. It's not really more grind, it's just less variety of content. If you stick to eh
    gianthold, 10 quests 24 coms each = 240
    wheloon, 5 quests 30 comms each = 150
    stormhorns 5 quests 33 comms each = 165
    high road 5 quests 24 comms each = 120

    total 675

Takes a little over 6 days if you do all those each day.

When I first read this I thought, "this is why people leave ddo." If I am not strong enough to run EEs I probably need some past lives to help with that...but according to this I should not be able to Epic TR without buying hearts. So the best way to get stronger is to already be strong? I asked someone who was soling EE about Epic TR and he could not wait to get some Epic Past Lives...he was puzzled when I asked him why? If you can solo the highest level quests on the highest difficulty why bother becoming stronger, you are already at the pinnacle of the game. I can easily solo En (no hires, no pots, and no scrolls), some quests I can Eh (the same way), the few EE quest I have run where just dreadful. CC a mob and gang beat or watch the monkcher/PM one shot everything.

    This is indeed great news!
More sources of comms is a very good thing in my eyes.

Thank you Turbine, if this is staying around. Please feel free to sprinkle them into every single epic raid chest as well.

Since the weekends test was on the newest content, I did not get to see any in chests. I will say I didn't see any in the new raids chests either. However that does not mean they aren't adding them. It just means I didn't get any.

And you're ok with needing to do 150 quests in order to E/ITR?

Yeah doing about 25 Quests a day if time permits and loving every minute of it when its moving at a solid pace.

Not one single bit burnt out.

I wonder what it is others are doing in similar timeframes (2-3hours) payouts are bigger on EE if you can keep the quest times from going to high.

    well, my route usually contains:

demands, graveyard EE = 60 comms
rusted blades, death undone (req. Mikayl, rogue hire) = 70 comms
demonweb EH or EE (depends on character and ED) = 63 comms / 120 comms
Claw EE (need rogue hire for detect secret door) = 30 comms
    VON 3 EH = 18 comms

thats 240 / 300 comms for 2 hours which is not bad (1 hour only if u play on shiradi caster or monkcher). if u have 2 epic character it easily covers the usual playing time of 3-4 hours per day.
I usually do GH and High road quests on EE for a change, those can be filled in pugs as well. I rarely bother with Stormhorn / Wheloon, once on EE for sagas is enough, and they are mostly not so good in comms / min.

I beg to differ Wheloon and Stormhorns payouts are decent maybe better on EH because its faster than EE but, I like to do EE only adds a few extra minutes for most quests (WGU excluded)

Last night I decided to attempt EE line of supply solo and although it was a bumpy ride I managed it in 25 Minutes for 60 CoV. Now that I have done it solo on EE I think that if I worked at it I can get my time down to under 15 minutes at least.

But, everyone's experiences are going to be different. EE Gianthold is a good way to do it for sure.

Did 5 rares in the adventure area and got NO comms at all. Has anyone else had this?
