I heard more CoVs are dropping in chests.

Confirm or deny. Do it now.

If this is true, and if they drop often enough, this might be one of the best updates as of lately.

Snap, crackle AND pop...awesome! Granted, since I don't use my comms for hearts (not interested in jumping on that train outside of the free hearts I received) I was just saving them for the Wyrm-wrought...I think I have enough to make several weapons for each of my toons now!

I think you're confusing easy button with grind reduction. They are most certainly not the same thing, regardless of how many times you say it.

I haven't seen any in any quest chests, but then, I haven't seen any in wilderness chests either. However, i would assume it's JUST in this wilderness, as you also use CoVs to craft Wyrm Wrought items.

I run exclusively EEs and I'm NOT rewarded with lack of grind.

Now, can we go back to my question? Are these CoVs only dropping in the new explorer area? Anyone tested? Any dev word?

Getting CoVs does not require skill. It requires a tolerance for tedium that nobody should have to possess.

You mean like going into explorer areas? Why should explorer areas even exist when getting XP in them is harmful to your character progression?

Yes, people who don't play the way you approve of deserve punishment. It's nice that you explicitly use that term. It lets everybody know what kind of person you are, and you can be appropriately dismissed for a variety of forum rules breaking descriptions that I won't use here, but which your imagination can supply. Just know that whatever you imagine I would be saying; it would actually be much, much worse.
