    Default Triple Completionist - Orien

So Shalera finally managed to catch up to the triple completionist club, she is now working on the epic lives (currently completed 3...)

Known Triple Completionist on Orien (in alphabetical order):
    Daddystaxxx
    Icywave
    Lacrya
Massiv (has some random last part...)
    Plink
    Reddsun
    Shalera
    Tantaras
    Yazz

If people let me know who joins this list, I will update...since the other list got closed. (Note, I chose to use alphabetical for the list because it makes it easier to add new people – and not worry about completion order)

I will use my next post to talk about myself

Default Details of Shalera Dagen's journey

    - Played all base races: Dwarf, Elf, Halfling, Drow, Half-elf, Half-Orc, Warforged
    - Played all but one iconic races: Sun Elf, PDK, Shadar-kai (Due to my great antipathy for the look and feel of playing a Warforged, Bladeforged will likely never happen.)

    - Levelled some lives as part of a TR train, others I pugged while others I caught whatever train was rolling through. Lives took between 3 days (yes a stoner life), 7 (without a stone) and 3 months (when I was starting)

    - Completed some lives as a pure class: Monk, Wizard, Sorc, Arti, Druid.
    - Completed some lives as an almost pure class (16 levels or more): Fvs (18/2monk), Bard (14-16), Cleric (17/3monk), Barbarian (18/2fighter),
    - Splashed Monk and Druid as liberally as possible whenever possible...

    - Used Otto boxes sparingly – the original free stone was never used on this character as it got my gimp WF wizard to 16 so that I could pike her to 20 and tr... Never used any stone until I was almost a double completionist. Also known to stone the “easy” lives since I hate playing arcanes.

    - Completed most heroic raids on elite at level (I think of all the raids 1-20, the only raid not done was Shroud, mainly due to lack of groups wanting to do max level 19, and missing out on Titan's run)
    - Participated in Titanicus's lets elite everything life – Titan Awakes at level was a blast – it helped that R had a toon at level to help with the run...
    - Elite streaked through epic levels (several times – had my streak broken several times by glitches, sometimes broken due to wanting to run raids...)
    - Current streak 2260 hard and 15 elite – epic TR is a killer on your elite streak sometimes.

Played some highly experimental build designs (some had inspiration from the forums or friends while others were crazy things I built to try something out – originality is not guaranteed):
    - Loot Bard – 16 Bard / 2 Rogue / 2 Fighter <-- able to get to any chest in the game (origin of this build was a modification of Twiddler's 18/2 bard)
    - Bardificer – 14 Bard / 6 Artificer
    - Clunkificer – 17 Cleric / 2 Monk / 1 Artificer
    - Monkificer – 10 Whatever / 9 Monk / 1 Artificer <-- various variations managed to get me through more lives than you can (some lives added an extra artificer level)
    - Barbruid – 12 Barbarian / 7 Druid / 1 Rogue <-- Self healing! Barbarian with trap / umd skills
    - Divine trapping AA – 12 Fvs / 6 Ranger / 2 Rogue <-- did two epic tr's with this build as it was a lot of fun

Levelled with some of the best people on the server.
    - Footsie has likely been my favorite leveller though I wish he would stop disappearing from the game. When I started playing with him, he would constantly out level me. He is 99% the reason that I have so many alts, I would always swap to another alt when he managed to out level me. He is also 90% of the reason why I have 10 toons over level 20.
    - Kv / Urs / Righteous Ire – for giving me a home these last few years, and being great to level with (when you actually were the same level)
    - Titanicus / Mitwo – they were the two people that inspired me to make the completionist run. They also taught me to never play wizard with them.
    - Keybreaker / Shortslice / OR crowd – Amazingly efficient levelling machines – when I manage to catch one of your trains, my life is done quick. Just wish you lived on the west coast and had more space in your train...
    - Mitwo / Caellwin – Efficient levelling buddies
    - Barbacoa / Iambad / House D crowd – Always a great bunch to level with
    - Massiv / Brachialis / Kurtesyflush – Fun levelling buddies though never take Massiv to VON5 at level...
    - Legend people – That is Legend not LOO – They always were fun levelling buddies to have, just wish someone was my level more than often. Was my first guild that let me use Large Augment Slots
    - Jackp / Rowdie / For Loot and Glory / Disorderly Conduct / Death Culture BBQ – They were there for me when I was just starting out, if it wasn't for Jack my first bard (pure) would never have hit 20.
    - Many others who are no longer playing with us (Mudhoney, Tenfour,...)

And for those that said I didn't have a life – managed to complete a M.Sc. Degree (A average) and get a job while playing.

I think there are only 5 of us... so not quite a full party. I do think we have had 3 of us in a party (Daddystaxxx, Icywave and I) so that is close

I never understand why people hate doing bard lives so badly, I can't say any of my 3 lives were bad - I tried 3 different variations - the fairly standard warchanter with trap skills, the AA barcher (would have been even more fun if you could have the embudes like right now), and the bardificer which was surprisingly complementary - this was also done just as the new enhancements were introduced and it actually got a lot stronger with the changes.

While they are not as fun as some other classes, they aren't that bad - not only that with the +20 stone - they are really easy to flip a barbarian into a bard

Thumbs up Congratulations, and thank you!

Thank you for posting this thread, as only having the completionist thread was just not very useful. Can you also please post a double completionist thread, and maybe start a quadruple completionist thread in advance? An Uber Completionist thread would also be much appreciated, but I do realize that it takes a large amount of effort to even selflessly keep this thread current.

Perhaps also send daily inquiries to each guild on the server, as this list is in no way complete. I am unsure why you chose not to post the list in order of when said triple completionists attained these goals; would posting them in chronological order not be easier, as you could just add the new names to the end of the list? (Of course, that might cause the perceived value of becoming an esteemed triple completionist to depreciate if done later, so perhaps you made the best decision after all.) Maybe forum titles for triple completionists are in order?

Furthermore, I like the idea of a tantalizingly brief and insightful biography from each of the members of this exclusive club, because these are also details that I peruse for tips on a daily basis on my neverending journey to attain more past lives. Especially important to me (I cannot speak for others, this is just personal opinion, but without this crucial detail, it would not even be worth posting these blurbs) is the inclusion of a preemptive refutation of haters' claims that these triple completionists have no lives. Of course they have lives--in fact, they have three of each!

I would like to request some clarification on this post. You specify that you "never understand why people hate doing bard lives so badly" but then go on to point out the ease with which one can use a +20 stone to "flip a barbarian into a bard ." Is the best way to level a bard, then, to just level something else and then swap it to bard at the last moment because one hates doing bard lives so badly? Furthermore, I am guessing that the "embudes" to which you refer are the "imbues" that are available to arcane archers; surely, you are not suggesting that you attained any lives by exploiting, as mentioned here?

There is no such thing as " Quadruple Completionist "

If you had read this thread (which I presume you haven't based on the above comment), you would have realized I was refering to mitwo's comment of "I wouldnt wanne put myself through 2 more stupid bard lifes lol". As someone who actually ran with mitwo alot (I wish you had the time /energy to play this game) - in fact at one time mitwo and titanicus had many many more lives than I do, I figure I can joke with him about his intense dislike of his bard life (and bards in general) and the fact that there are other solutions to get through a bard life... The reality is that while most other people took long breaks to play other games, I have stuck with one game for the past 4 years, which has resulted in the number of lives I have gone through (staying at cap is a bit boring after a while - as it doing the same low level quests multiple times - and I can't afford to gear as many toons as I would like to try). Things like otto's boxes have only marginally sped up the time taken and the reality is that a bunch of my lives were completed before there was bravery bonus, stones, and even the shear number of quests at certain levels. Back in the "old" days - it wasn't unusual for people to run low on quests and xp they could use to get back to 20 on a tr life.

The reality is that tr-ing allowed me to experiment with different class ideas that were easy to "throw" away if they weren't very good. In fact, some were a lot better than I expected (and which may result in me tr-ing another toon into that class for my stable of toons), a few were a bit worse but at the end of the day - it provided me with a past life and in most cases were a lot of fun to play.

I don't really think using multiple imbues to make a less than optimal build a bit more fun to play is so horrible (and if it was that horrible, they can fix it faster). If people don't want to play with players that use them, then it is their choice but honestly I mainly did it to see what people were talking about (it wasn't as if I used it as a final end-game build). I am currently a 17druid/2monk/1fighter - which doesn't use bows other than to open levers that are out of reach (and doesn't use hand wraps usually). I am currently experimenting at building a high dc earthquake druid who can reliably keep EE mobs on their bottoms.

As for my +20 stone - it is still sitting in my tr cache as I don't really have any need to use it. All the lives I did, had the past life as the majority of the levels, I have never used a +x heart of wood on my character (though this will change as I would like to take the level 1 fighter out which was forced by the iconic race). I figure if I ever get tired of playing a druid, I can use it to change into something different.

As for disliking whether this thread exists, please move on.. If people inform me about their status, I will be happy to update - it no one cares, then it will die like all other threads. As the only other thread on this topic was locked, I figured - why not create a new place for people to post on this topic. I never intend to send "daily inquiries to each guild on the server", as I quite realize that this list (and the completionist list) is most likely incomplete. If people want a place to have their name on the forums, the threads allow them to have a single place to look, if they don't, then it won't.

Congratz Shalera. I've had the privilege of running with you a few times in your latter lives on a few of my way-too-many alts (hence why I'm no where near completionist), and it was a blast. Its always nice to have highly competent players around who are nonetheless good personalities and fun to play with. Congratz again!
