    Default Drd9/Mnk9/Ftr2

This build is a TWF melee build that combines the unarmed aspects of monk and druid winter wolf form. What you get is very good dps, good defense and good self healing. Below is the original build followed by the updated build. The updated build has adjustments that I've made to fine tune the build, which includes higher wisdom for a better stunning fist and blinding speed since the primary form will be grandmaster earth. If you can slot melee alacrity 15% (kicking myself for selling my EE jorgs collar), then you can swap blinding speed with a third natural fighting. This is my plan once I get one again. I have play tested this build to 27 and it is quite capable of soloing EE quests. Have been really enjoying it.

    Updated Build:

Put three heroic level ups and two epic level ups into wisdom instead of strength. Took two wisdom enhancements instead of str from nature's warrior. Changed from sentinel destiny to divine crusader and took all the wisdom enhancements for a total of +13 wisdom and a loss of 7 strength over the original build. Stunning fist will be a 66 with my toon and the build below. Also took blinding speed instead of a third natural fighting till I get a 15% melee alacrity item again.

I don't believe that the TWF feats work while in wolf form (could be wrong?), which is why most builds max the heck out of doublestrike instead. I would recommend taking natural fighting three times in heroic and move grandmaster of forms to epic tier, as it gives some benefits, but not too major ones over master of forms. As to those feats that you have free by the removal of the TWF feats, you can take deflect arrows or toughness at the monk level, and take IC: bludgeon at one of your fighter levels. Or, if you are willing to mess with the leveling order (or even wait for Great Cleave) you can get All of the forms, natural fighting, dodge, deflect arrows, power attack, empower healing, stunning fist, and cleave attacks at heroic tier.

Normal feats (8): power attack, cleave, empower healing, natural fighting x3, master of forms, grandmaster of forms
Monk feats (3): dodge, stunning fist, deflect arrows
Fighter feats (2): great cleave, IC: bludgeon

It should all work out, but perhaps I'm missing something in the level up order. Just some suggestions. Nice build overall.

Edit: I've worked out that I was wrong, level requirements prevent you from getting all of these feats at heroic. My advice would be to grab a fighter level at either level 10 (right after druid levels) or 12 (right after evasion). This will net you a haste boost and an extra feat earlier on in the game. If you take great cleave here, you have an extra normal feat slot to slot with whatever you wish. I would still recommend taking grandmaster of forms at either 21 or 24 instead of during heroic tier and move natural fighting down there.

I have a 9/9/2 Unarmed WW build that's similar, but taking the Natural Fighting feats instead of TWF from back when TWF didn't work. It's on my work laptop so I'll post additional comments when I can find it.

What I remember is that I was having a hard time getting Stunning Fist to land reliably in harder EHs, but I'm still a bit away from gearing. I went Warforged (before BF was an option) for the Tactics, Improved Power Attack and Weapon Attachment. The nice thing is in wolf form you're not considered a construct anymore so you take healing normally, as a fleshie. I'm about to pick up the toon again now that my tank is leveled and debating on trying to work in Trip somehow. Your build will definitely do more damage with Nat Fighting and TWF. My only fear is if/when they change TWF to not work again.

They do, I'm playing one atm with twf and natural fighting feats, i see mostly 3 hits per attack. BUT devs said that this isn't WAI and they are looking into it, they may fix it or leave it, so i would only build for twf if i know i have a way to respec it in case its fixed.

Well if the TWF feats are working then disregard pretty much my entire previous post. My only recommendation now is an earlier fighter level for an earier extra feat and a haste boost.

Thanks for the replies guys. The character I am considering for this build is a monk with 3 monk past lives and I'm working on his third martial ETR atm. The main reason I wanted grandmaster earlier is for grandmaster air, which is what I am initially planning on running him in. Between the 9% from the epic past life feat, 18% from natural fighting, 10% GM air, 5% perfect tewf, 6% gear and maybe even twist in 3% from ED, the double strike should be insane. That's a total of 51% double strike unless I left something out. This is what has me considering this build. Defense would definitely take a hit and in EE content, that might hurt some but I have good gear on this toon and should have a good stunning fist. Plus the healing will be much better than my pure monk. I hate swapping to scrolls and they only hit for 278hps. Cocoon with all the positive energy spellpower this build will have should heal for quite a bit.

TRed into this awhile back and just took 17 this morning. Absolutely loving the build. The DPS is insane. I am just mowing through enemies in elite content. Have seen crits in the 600s. I just hit flight, damage boost, and double strike boost, run into a mob pulling them all to me, then stun, alpha strike, great cleave, cleave and they are usually all dead. Those I missed are finished off with bating bite or take down. Bosses do not last long at all. Defense is very good with 20% dodge (30% with the boost going), shadow veil, 70 self buffed AC, self cast death ward and good saves. Self healing is also very good. Sitting close to 30% double strike atm. With +6 stunners have around a 34DC stunning fist which is working well in at level elite quests. All in all a great build so far. Can't wait to see what it does in epic levels.

It will do very well i'm sure. Since they broke the code and allowed twf (and u could even get single handed fighting feats on top!) they are insane dps, it blows through ee quests even off-destiny.

I was hoping so. My plan is to get my epic past lives done with this build. Hopefully hit 20 this weekend with the xp bonus going. Can't wait.

@ op, as good as this build is, it could be better if you worked out how to add the single weapon fighting feats too.

SWF and TWF feats are mutually exclusive; i.e., if you have one, you're not allowed to take the other. There was a workaround using rgr's free feats, but I don't know if Turbine closed that particular loophole in the latest patch.

The feats are extremely tight as it is. Don't think I could really fit it in if it were even possible. Only hit 18 this weekend because a friend came over but did run monastery and prey and was still annihilating even the high HP giants. Up to 31% double strike now. Using acid/disintegration/stunning +6 estar challenge wraps. Stuns were still working even on the giants. DPS, defense and self healing are still superb. Having fun, that's the important part.

I made a 9mnk/9drd/2fgt on lamma, when SWF and TWF was not exclusive.
The biggest problem of the build was the client being unable to catch up with the numbers.
It was hard to go back to live servers, because everything else felt so slow:

Oh ya, exploiting things that are not wai can be quite OP but sometimes they actually get around to fixing them. Even without that this build seems pretty amazing to me. Having a lot of fun with it so far.

Hit lvl27 this weekend. This build has been very strong through epics. Ended up running in GM Earth for the extra AC, HPs and PRR since I primarily run Epic Elites and was getting clobbered. Also playing in sentinel destiny for the same reasons. So I changed the lvl 27 feat to blazing speed since not using GM Air so lost the third natural fighting feat which is a little of a bummer but the dps is still excellent. Had a jorgs collar but sold it for shards a long time ago to get my guild ship. If I get one again I could swap out blazing speed for natural fighting for a little more dps. I can wade into battle pretty well in EEs with this setup. I currently have 1208hp, 128 AC, 84 PRR 32% doublestrike (in GM Earth) and decent self healing. Have soloed a number of EEs. Von3, Beyond The Rift, Trial by Fury, Deal and the Demon, Reclaiming the Rift, Impossible Demands, Unquiet Graves, Bargain of Blood, Rusted Blades (including the matron) and maybe a couple more that I can't think of at the moment. I know those aren't the really tough ones but still it's doing pretty well.

Wish the stun DC was higher. Only sitting at 59 atm. Wearing EE shadow sight so +11 wisdom. Insight +3 wis on Spider-spun and +1 exc from globe. +10 stun from antipodes and +5 exc from the epic spare hand. +6 from dreadnaught. +4 tome and took some heroic wisdom enhancements. I even took the kensei enhancements so I'm pretty well at the ceiling without some major build changes I think. I'll have to take a look at it and see what I can do there. Always more work to be done but its working quite well as is =-)

Still level 27 and had only a 59 stunning fist so made a few changes. Took two wisdom enhancements instead of str from nature's warrior. Changed from sentinel destiny to divine crusader and took all the wisdom enhancements for a total of +8 wisdom and a loss of only 2 strength. Stunning fist is now a 64 with just a +2 wisdom ship buff. When I epic TR in like 500k xp, I plan on using the updated build which will give me +13 wisdom over the original build. Since I like to run higher levels of EE content, I really want to get the stun up there. Stun should be at 66 so I may have to get some fighter past lives in if it is ineffective in the highest level EEs. I ended up not putting 6ap into kensei tactics. +3 stun would be great but such a heavy cost would cause me to lose out on either wisdom enhancements or other important enhancements. Going to keep working at it.

Divine crusader is working out great with this build. The BAB = to your level is instantly a dps upgrade by itself. Not to mention the other dps and healing gains it provides. Only have 866 hps now and a little lower AC and PRR but I think that's all still going to be fine. I ran a quick von3 EH just to see how it played and didn't have to heal myself one time. The heal you get from no remorse kept me topped off the whole quest. Will play test some EEs and see how it goes. I'll definitely have to heal myself in those but I think it's going to be much better to play. Cure criticals are hitting for well over 200 even without a devotion item on. I need to work that in and more healing amp. Always more work to be done =-)

It's total BS that they make us take 9 level of druid just to get access to natural fighting considering the first animal form comes in at 3.
Not logical and also destroys some very good 8/12 or 8/10/2 builds.

" yeah, I was a wolf for 8 levels, but I fought with a pair of knitting needles, never learned to use my claws at all, sucked all my food through a straw "

    Please explain your logic DDO?

Wait, you are actually playing a twf version, which, unless im mistaken, its not wai either.
