    Default Which feat?

I've got a lvl 14 cleric who is ready to level to 15. I've gotten most of the enhancements out of the Radiant Servant tree that I want, and now I'm dabbling in the Divine Disciple tree. I picked up a couple spell like abilities just so I can toss in some cheap dps every once in a while and I wanted to get a feat that would increase the power of those spell like abilities, since they don't increase the cost of the spell. So, my question is which will improve my dps more, Empower Spell, or Heighten Spell, when using the SLA Searing Light?

    Thanks for your help.

Heighten makes the Saving Throw higher. Searing Light doesn't have a Saving Throw.

What is your feat line up and build?

You should try to have both probably by lvl 15.
Your lack of healing amp not my problem. Please buy and use your own remove curse pots in combat, so I don't waste mana. Not my job.

Like Firemedium asked, what are the rest of your feats?

Heighten doesn't affect your SLA damage, but is useful for other things.

Empower will increase the damage; but Maximize will increase it even more. Do you already have Maximize?

Yes, I already have Maximize. I didn't realize that Searing Light doesn't have a saving throw. Can you have both Maximize and Empower running on a spell for an even larger increase in Spellpower?

Thank you for all the recommendations.

Yes, you can have as many Metas on a spell is it can use.

There are a lot of feats that suck.

Heighten is only a plus on DPS in regards to spells that have a "Save" requirement. This is however, only measurable if the new DC of the Spell now prevents the "Save" or makes it so a larger % don't save and take Full Damage due to this.

I would agree that by level 15 (or at the latest 18) Heighten should be in a Caster Cleric's bag of tricks. However, if you are simply going the "Light Damage" route then it is not as needed as most of your spells will not have "Saves".
