    Maybe...
At least when I pick up my saga rewards I actually feel like I have a choice. Putting comms in saga's would have made those just like every other epic reward list now...

scroll, scroll, scroll, click comms, go into inventory, restack them because they don't stack properly because... reasons?

the people may care, but the business will always try to find profit. to Turbine, giving us what we actually want isn't probably profitable to them or they would have done it in the first place. instead, they do what they always do, which is to profit from irritation. they give us a little of what we want but if we want to avoid that tough obstacle we have a pay option available to us. they only give us just enough until their profit is greater than their loss.

i don't know if there was a misunderstanding or if Turbine thought that keeping Comms as saga end rewards along with quest end rewards was too much, but they should be in saga end rewards. that just makes it so there is another reason to do sagas.

You are the one choosing not to play alts.

Casual player now investing way less than I used to into the game, playing 1-3 months at a time and still want nothing to do with Reaper. #improvepuggrouping#alldifficultiesmatter

I'd rather that than nothing. Or you could make CoVs granted in end saga rewards PLUS the choices we have now. Right now, the choice is either XP or Guild Renown. Probabilities are you have already all the skill tomes you need by now. And if you are in a high level guild (or you know, planning to ER which is the point), then you will pick XP no matter what.

If we always try to look from the point of view of the "business", they will be ALWAYS right. Bladeforged with Recon, Monks OP and all the other ***** happening lately. Enough with these "business excuses". I'm player, I understand $$$ necessity but they don't understand OURS. Lowering the number to EVEN 3500 would be good enough.

im not one to defend some of the decisions Turbine makes as a business, but it makes things easier to understand why things are done the way they are if you think how a business works. in this particular case, i don't necessarily agree with their "solution" to the Comm problem, but at least they have recognized our complaints and came up with something that players and Turbine can compromise on. in 6 months to a year, those that are and have been participating in the epic grind will have the past lives they want and eventually will just be collecting Comms for no reason. the new raid using Comms will be another incentive to spend Comms, but the complaints will decrease as time goes on. this change i see it as more of a way to settle the natives down until things pan out better eventually down the road.

Finally got astral shards on lamannia (ty squeak) to try a full xp buff:

A break in the Ice Epic Elite:

    Base (wiki): 60
    Shrine: 3 (5%)
    Voice: 3 (5%)
    VIP: 6 (10%)
    Tome: 6 (10%)
    Pot: 18 (30%)
    Total: 96

    Reward: 89

Will try a lower level quest just in case storm horns hit the limit.

    Edit:
The Deal and the Demon Epic Elite:

    Base (wiki): 40
    Shrine: 2 (5%)
    Voice: 2 (5%)
    VIP: 4 (10%)
    Tome: 4 (10%)
    Pot: 12 (30%)
    Total: 64

    Reward: 59

So... tome doesn't count and we are loosing 1 CoV somewhere.

Tomes per description says that work ONLY on dungeon XP. They don't work with XP from sagas or otto stone. So they are working as intended. What bugs me is the 1 cov missing, i saw this same problem with the xp, you always have 1 XP missing from voice or airship buff.

If this change is their "answer" to the CoV problem then yes i agree it's stupid. If it's the answer to the devaluing of XP pots and other xp enhancements it makes perfect sense(Except please add the tomes too!), and should have been in from the start.

For me the two things are different issues and I hope there is more changes coming for the actual cov number/drop rate later on.
