    Default 17 CLR / 2 MNK / 1 FTR versus 18 FVS / 2 MNK

I'm tring my favored soul in a bit and I'm trying to decide which way to go. I split my time between soloing and playing in groups. This will be a melee divine (WIS dumped) STR and CON pumped, with as much CHR as I can spare. I won't go into feats here. Assume "standard" melee divine with monk splash feats. These are some pros/cons I see:

    17 CLR / 2 MNK / 1 FTR
*aura and burst healing (this would make group play easier as my aura would be healing others and I could focus mostly on beating stuff down)
    *extra feat from fighter
*could use all martial weapons if desired (though would become uncentered)
*access to fighter enhancements (there is some nice low-hanging fruit there...)

    18 FVS / 2 MNK
*better reflex saves to go with evasion
    *wings
    *more spell points
*would gain haste from Warpriest enhancement tree
*one less feat (would probably lose extend here)
*limited to monk or FVS weapons (not a big deal, really, as I'll be using sticks primarily)
    *no aura healing

Does anyone have any thoughts on which is "better"?

I wonder if doing 18 FVS / 2 MNK / 1 FTR would be worth it. I'm not sure how much I'd miss mass heal. Right now in FOT and CITW, I never us mass heal anyway. It's all coccoon or renew or normal heal since people don't cluster like in the old school raids.

    Id go human 17fvs/2monk/1rogue personally.

To me, wings & haste are more useful than aoe healing in the game as it stands now. However there are more raids coming soon, this may be subject to change.

Id also not pump con depending on what ed you want to run in. I'd build around 18str, 12con, 10 dex, 10int, rest cha.

I say 1 rogue knowing I lose a feat, because I think the +15% attack speed you get permanently with theif acrobatics & full umd is better than a feat and hasteboost.

Btw ameliorating strike, tier 4 warpriest is an aoe heal, though its much more effective for twf. (If you were to go twf, id go drow for their racial shortswords and the ability to be centred in ninja spy)

Dropping from 18 fvs to 17 loses me haste and lvl 9 spells. Right now mass heal is not necessary for raids, but that could change with new raids. I would love to have full umd, naturally...

I talked this through with a guildie, and i think the cleric route is out. It is definitely fvs with some sort of splash. Guildie prefered 18 fvs 2 monk with helf paladin dillie for +5 to saves. I was thinking human route for the extra feat.

Putting rogue has me interested, but then i lose 15 percent boost from haste and gain it back form arcobat enhancement. I cant always count on an arcane beong there to haste meh...

And i wont have extend on this build so if i. Do 18 fvs for haste, it wont last long.

The rogue enhancement stacks with haste.

    Default 17 cleric / 3 monk?

Have you considered 17 cleric / 3 monk? Dwarven WIS stunner?

Hmm 2 ftr gets you +3 to tactics all 4 tiers of haste and 3 xtra action boosts. And 3% dodge. Pretty good splash if going melee type.
