Default <3 older FR source books...

Would really like to see more of the Savage North and Bloodstone Lands.

Ran many home-made campaigns in the Savage North back in the late 80s. Lots of nooks and cranies in the source-books that didn't make an appearance in the popular novels to explore and develope.

I'd prefer anything that hasn't already been done to death.
Waterdeep falls into the "Been there, done that already" category for me.

I'm sure the Waterdavian creatures need to be found again....

As far as what I really want to see in DDO - More Forgotten Realms...yes, I like it. Specifically, more of Cormyr, maybe some Thay, some Moonsea, maybe even go down to Chult with all the dinosaurs. More Eberron - Mournlands SCREAMS 'send your epic level people here for me to destroy', and I desperately want some Epic Xoriat stuff.

I'd also like to see a Forgotten Realms starter area, where you could make things like a Level 1 Human Paladin of Torm. At the same time, I'd like to see more Eberron Iconics. Particularly things like Inquisitor of the Silver Flame, and maybe a warforged 'Commander in the Last War' kind of thing (I picture a Fighter or anti-undead Ranger with a Racial tree 'pet' that is viable, and gets bonuses against the undead.)

Maybe some new spells to liven things up a bit. Resonating Bolt (it's kinda like Sunbolt, but it's Sonic, and meant for blasting open keeps, and trashing Golems), Mordenkainen's Sword, and Prismatic Wall are all excellent choices. As is the old doombringer, Chromatic Orb, and /absolutely/ more Paladin and Ranger spells. At the very least Bless Weapon for paladins. Maybe give clerics 'Bless Water' so they can make holy water grenades to chuck at the undead?
would love to see waterdeep for f2p atleast and undermountain wouldbe tons of fun

Why does it have to be either FR or Eberron? We have the rift which could open up to other D&D worlds. Old school D&D players like me spent a lot of time in "The Known World of Mystara" (Basic D&D) and "The World of Greyhawk" (AD&D) - I might just pee my pants if I could create a character in the Village of Hommlet and level him up in the true Temple of Elemental Evil and solo the Tomb of Horrors... Classic iconic D&D modules like: Aerie of the Slave Lords, The Keep on the Borderlands, The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan, The Ghost Tower of Inverness and Expedition to the Barrier Peaks would be a nostalgic blast from the past for oldtimmers and perhaps a breath of fresh air for the whippersnappers too - I would love to see these places realized and recreated - Turbine for the most part has done an outstanding job creating Middle-earth - lets see what they can do with The Grand Duchy of Karameikos or even the ever popular desert setting of The Desert of Desolation...

    SpelljammAAAAAAA!!!!!!

DDO already has "piratey" content to build from, Spelljammer is just Pirates/Sailors in Space. Spacescapes (or cosmoscapes, at least) would be the coolest new vistas we could get, and completely different even from GH or Underdark or Shavarath. And it would give them more creative license than any other setting - they could literally create whole new worlds of any type they want for us to explore. Plus its a way to link additional future settings/modules into DDO without having to punch so many holes between realms that the fabric of reality turns into swiss cheese.

Tell me you wouldnt love DDO to play like AC4 in Space

Cordovan has stated that there are no plans for a paid Expansion in 2015, so any Waterdeep or other expansion will happen in 2016 at the earliest...if we ever get another expansion again.

    Default Torment

I agree with MacRighteous that the clasic AD&D content and dungeons would be great in the DDO universe. But I think everyone is missing a logical stepping ground of Planar travel from concordant opposition (Torment's, The Hive) and travel to Dungeons through gate portals rather than elaborate PITA expansions. You want all the comforts of home, go to Eberon or Comyr, but it would really just be a minor marketplace city/outdoor area with gated dungeons addable at any time, hmmm kind of like Eberon. But make it quality content. I never much cared for FR plots

I just noticed this iOS game on the Wizards of the Coast website.

    http://dnd.wizards.com/products/digi...ords-waterdeep

Lords of Waterdeep is a currently promoted campaign for D&D because of the new iOS game, so DDO could have a cross over expansion.

Waterdeep is over 1000 miles away from Cormyr!

    Here's a map of Faerun:

Any Expansion for the Realms should concentrate on The Sea of Fallen Stars area {Maybe going north into Anauroch and The Dales.}.

Waterdeep is most definitely also in Neverwinter's purview so highly doubtful for any DDO Expansion {no matter how much I'd love to see Undermountain in DDO!}.

Eberron definitely needs its own Expansion - I'd like to see Sarlona myself but Sharn would also be a good choice.

BTW The main argument I keep hearing/reading against the Realms is that they're Supposedly so Generic!

This maybe because of everyone concentrating on such small parts of Faerun and ignoring the rest!

I would to see Zilargo and Talenta as the next expansions.

As others have said, if they must expand FR then Vaasa, Damara, Myth Drannor, Tantras, Zhentil Keep.

Stay away from Waterdeep, Icewind Dale, etc.

I consider Eberron the far more interesting setting, and would by far prefer to see more content there. We've done Argonnessen a lot of favours already, how about some conflict with them for once?

The only FR content I'd be truly happy to see is something where we get to punch Elminster in the face. Preferably repeatedly. Or at least where we get to knock him out like we get to do with Coyle. As a NPC in DDO he is just that gods-damned annoying. The voice actor for him did a great job, Elminster practically oozes smugness and the VA really conveys that he's a character that's completely convinced he's right about everything and thinks he's doing the PCs a favour by simply talking to them and telling them what to do. By the dragon below, I've wished I could feed him to Lolth.
