Dear Devs,

first let me say that i like the idea of auctioning. So the regular AH is wonderful pool to get things. Then the "ASAH" popped out and i thought: ok, not the best philosophy, but ok. That can save you a lot of time from grinding and hamster-wheel quests to get what you like instead of getting bored or angry. But now i´m getting angry from time to time. Why? The Thing is, that you mainly get good/usable things in the ASAH only! That´s a real smuttiness! I like to contribute to the community, and when i find items my guildies or i don´t use, i put it in the AH for a realistic Price. But for what??? Only to see my upgrade +3 to ü+4 getting bought by someone else with a big wallet and then Setting it in the ASAH a few minutes later! Or is that the higher Intention? Looting the AH and pumping it into ASAH exclusively to make everyone pay? This makes me angry guys. For sure i don´t have to buy it and run the quest, but it´s a Thing of Fairness. And what to do with my plat? It has lost it´s value if i can´t buy something for. So dear devs, please do something! We have items BTC and items BTA, i suggest you can do this with loot too. Differ between loot sellable on ASAH+AH and loot sellable on AH. Or think about some other solution, AH imo has changed to Trash-House.

I sold a pair of Shadowsight goggles for 1350 shards or so. It was strange - two others posted theirs when I posted mine. We quickly entered into a price war and each of us, every day, without sales, dropped our prices. We went from 800 to 600 to 550 and then I was like "screw this!" and posted it for a bid price of 400, buyout of 1350. Checked the next day and it was bought for full price.

hahaha! I couldn't believe it and was swimming in shards for a while. But, a fool and his shards are soon parted and now I have few.

no no no, maybe you misunderstood me. I wasn´t jealous, I was a bit angry. Angry about that People buy anything good from the regular AH and putting it in ASAH so it´s removed from regular market and you can get it only for "real Money" instead of platinum. The good olde righteous Player with his plat is excluded from the Access on good stuff in my eyes. You´re right when you say i should better trade it.

I was against the ASAH when it came out but eventually came around, if you cant beat em might as well join em. After reading this thread I adopted the low bid no buyout strategy and have to say it work well, often sell things cheaper than I might like but it evens out with the occasional bidding war in my favor. Alas I have a gold roll problem and never have many shard for long but man do I have a ton of raid bypasses and jeweler kits to share with guildies, so thx to OP.

I sell stuff on 4 chars, thats around 40 things constantly on asah
I bought lvl 85 ship with as I earned on asah, now I have around 2.9k as, spent like 4k so far, maybe more.
