Default Blindness and trap disabling ....

While playing with friends of mine yesterday, we found out that you could Disable Traps even when Blinded....

Granted, it doesn't happen often, it isn't a habit, and blindness is easy to cure, but still, this is a poor game mechanic..

And relatively simple since you can " Q .. E " select and disable.

In any case, Blind Rogues for the win .. ya ya ya

It wouldn't be very "roguish" to have to flip the lights on every time you wanted to pilfer some goods... just saying.

not seeing how its a 'poor game mechanic'. a skilled rogue can disable a trap in pure darkness, and blindness isnt mcuh different then that. maybe he used his sense of touch rather hten sight to feel the components of the trap and his intellegence to figure out how it was supposed to work and then figured a way to disable it.

It is poor mechanic in that you shouldn't be able to target something you can't see and therefore know it is there.

The same applies when fighting or casting, you can still simply " Tab " the enemy and hit. Spells will land just as easily.

I would think there is a limit to that 6th sense
