Searching DDO on Google

Am I the only one that can't search DDO.com using google?

This is the typical error I get on results from DDO.com:

What exactly are you using as your search string (or browser)?

site:ddo.com random search stuff is working fine here (both google.co.uk and google.com) from both Firefox and Chrome

Well check that.
I usually use Google Chrome and it still has the problem... but I DL'd Firefox and it brings up DDO.com like a champ.

I rekon' I should review the settings in Chrome or sum'thin like that now...

It is DDO. A workaround is to log out of the DDO forum. I have no idea why that works.

Actually I think it is a Google problem.

The links from Google sometimes have these long 20 digit string at the end of the URL. I find when I get the re-direct error, if I just delete the numbers from the end of the URL it goes to the right post.

edit: I thought about it more, maybe it's not a google problem, but a ddo.com problem. Anyway, deleting the numbers works.

I can say I ever had it say it caused too many redirects. however since the forum change there has been alot of links on google that time out no matter how many times oyu try the link. So it seems to be the URL causing it.

a bypass would be to take the string of numbers (430894) from (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...s-of-the-Queen), and paste them over what the original url was to make them (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/430894) and it'll take you to the correct thread, no need for the title of the thread after the number. this can be done with any of the threads including this one. replacing it with (434674) so it becomes (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/434674) , will take you to this thread.

Deleting the highlighted portion (as selected in the image) and then hitting enter will get the page to load.

This has been like this since the disaster they perpetrated on the forum.
