    Default Slayer trinket

How about having a trinket (or wearable) that gave a permanent slayer bonus in wilderness areas? There are a few trinkets which give a permanent bonus to xp, for example. This shouldn't be a standard loot drop but maybe among the end rewards of some quest chains.

    Sounds like Voice and Mantle.

So why not add this in as a named item for Haunted Halls of Eveningstar and Ed Greenwood?

And I agree, it should be named after Ed Greenwood

Yup, that sounds just about perfect. Something reasonable of course like 10 or 20% should do.

Should this trinket stack with Potions/LoB cookies?
That's not lag, it's just DDO trying to become turn-based again.

I'd say more like at least 20% since 10% is hardly worthwhile when we're talking about ranges above 750 kills. Maybe 20% to 33.3%? It would be nice if it were stackable with slayer potions or cookies but not a deal breaker.

    Nice idea. /signed

I still also think that slayer rewards above 750 should be broken down into smaller increments so you can get a reward without having to go all the way to 1500 or 3000, for example.

I'd prefer the dev team spent their time on more important aspects of the game than adding more easy-buttons. Slayer count boosts suck imo - what is going on, are my enemies distressed that i kill their friends and commit suicide?

How would you like it if your enemies (monsters) started having slayer count boosts, huh? (Ooops, this rare has 50% slayer boost and i was killed cause he killed another 2 party members)

This sounds more reasonable to me, and/or maybe they could also give higher XP rewards for the higher tiers. But i don't think it's a much needed change, anyway.

If i haven't responded to your post, it doesn't necessarily mean that i don't have counter-arguments, it might simply mean that i don't want to keep feeding the trolls.

And here I was, expecting to see a proposed SLAYER!!! trinket that would have a Raining Blood clickie.
Raining Blood: Your bloodlust fills your enemies with fear. You earn a 50% bonus for your Slayer count, so for every two enemies you slay, you get credit for one more. This stacks with all other Slayer boosts

Reign in Blood not raining blood ya goober (unless you mean the song, then I am the Goober). And yes that would be rad (both the Reign in Blood clickie or the Ed Greenwood idea).

Or we could just have an official character planner to make the ultimate builds on and call it done to completely skip the annoyance of ever actually having to play the game.

IMO if one wants higher slayer counts they simply have to kill more.

You're the Goober . The song title fits the effect better. Reign in Blood works better as a quest name (Hint hint Turbine...perfect dungeon name for where the item would drop).

How about: Your bloodlust fills your enemies with fear - for every two enemies you slay, you get to frighten the one that is closer to you and they run away scared.

Sounds like a more appropriate fear effect to me 0:-)

I would sign thiis if it is something that can be either attained or at least used on low levels (ML 5 like Voice and Mantle) and is not occupying either space of Mantle or Voice. Helmet or Glove would be fine.
