Default Paladin build wanted for me to TR into.

Hi all this is the first time I have posted a request like this but there are far more knowledgeable and experienced players out there than me that might give me something better than I can make myself! I am currently playing a pure Pali. It is my 3rd life, my first 2 were barbs. I am doing pali lives for the amp. For sake of not having to gear hunt I would prefer to play TWF, I have heavy arm right now or light arm from my barb days. I currently use rapiers as I had lit II heavy picks I used lower down. However if 2hf makes more sense I do have some great axes collected along the way of the past 4 lives I am not VIP but have most packs now. She has +5con, +5 str +4 cha, +3 dex, wis and int tomes. I have umd for scroll use that I want again. Basically having done a pure pally once I would like to see what it would be like to play with something else splashed in. I do not have monk so that is not an option. Fighter and or rge is something I was considering but having read some pages here I see ranger might be an option so something with any of those! Not sure if there is any other info you need. Thank you

Have you looked at EllisDee37 pally build? May be something you can use. 100% monk free!

Despite being underwhelming compared to other melees (read: monks) I really like paladins. Enhancement pass nerfed their defender line (requiring a shield for the higher defensive stance bonuses) and unintuitive level requirements for some abilities (remove disease, divine might). Knight of the Chalice is great but for a now small segment of the content.

TWF with rapiers screams drow to me, with a 12paly/6ranger/2rogue. You give up Zeal, but gain manyshot and bow feats, rams might, significant sneak dice via enhancements, and +10% off hand via tempest core. Action points would be primarily spent in Tempest tree after some core paladin abilities (divine might, extra Loh, extra smite, exalted smite, and divine sacrifice).

Another build I've been playing around with on paper is a 14paly/6rogue thief acrobat using q-staffs. The tier 5 +1competance threat range and multiplier is crazy good and there's some great utility abilities there as well (abundant step-like ability and immunity to most knockdown and slippery serfaces).

If any of those sound interesting I can put a detailed build when I get home from work.

I'm looking for a Pally build of past life and to run thru epic levels. I'll probably box or go BF for most of the heroic levels. But paladins are generally easy to level. The main idea I'm working with at the moment:

    Elf 14 Paladin/4 Ranger/2 Monk
    • Feats: 7 (base) + 2 (Monk) + 3 (epic) = 12
    • Offensive (5): PA, IC:Slash, Cleave, GC, OC
    • Style(2): ITWF, GTWF
    • Ranged (3): PBS, Many Shot, IC: Ranged
    • Other(1): Empower Heal, Least Dragonmark of Shadow
    • ED(2): PTWF, Holy Strike
    • Ranger (Free): Precise Shot, Bow Strength, Rapid Shot, TWF

This build is missing Zen Archery and fitting in Precision would be nice as well. Elf gives you rapier bonus damage, but I'd probably run with short swords to stay centered and get Deft Strikes. The main benefit from Elf is Dragonmarks for a displacement SLA and the doublestrike capstone.

If you stay centered you can get some sneak attack from the monk enhancements. Plus Fists of Iron and Divine Sacrifice may work well together.

3 Ranger and 1 Monk gets you Tempest I +10% and Deft Strikes for another +10% damage for total 100% off hand.

It does lose the 15th Paladin level would get you Deathward or CSW.

    Other ideas are:
14 Paladin/4 FvS/2 Ranger - for healing strike, no manyshot option.
    8 Paladin/6 Ranger/6 Monk
Potentially a Bladeforged version of the above - doesn't need deathward or CSW, so 14 Paladin works well. Switch Empower Heal and Dragonmark for Stunning Fist/Blow, Zen Archery or Precision.
