Default Was a good run, but time too go.

Hello fellow players of orien. I have been playing ddo for about 5 years, and have seen this game through its ups and downs. But lately it has been nothing but downs. I cannot last another year in this game waiting for turbine too fix there bugs, there lag, and add more content which will just result in more bugs and broken ****. For the longest time this game has been great enjoyment, but for the past couple of months it has been dying. So I bid you all farewell, and wish you all well. I hope too see some old faces when the elder scrolls comes out, which is where I will be dwelling. Take care orien.------------------------------IkratosI

I would have loved to play a good ESO game myself but everything I read from the lead designer makes me think he has a head full of idiot notions designed to make Bethesda a lot of money in the very short run but which won't sustain any kind of player base.

Except ESO isn't being developed by Bethesda, but by Zenimax online studios. There is a reason Bethesda didn't take it upon themselves to do it. If it were being made by Bethesda as I wish it would be, I would have complete faith in it.
Veriden, Orien server: Lost count of lives. 3 of all base classes, 3 halfling, 2 gnome...working on trying to make the game work again. May or may not return.

Instead of whining about the problems of the game, you should be saying "wow, thank you DDO!!, i cant believe you managed to keep me entertained for 5 YEARS!!"

The problem with you people is that you have no perspective. The bugs, the lag, the fluctuating population have always been here. The problem is that you're bored. You're done

No matter how much you like it, if you do something every day for years, you're going to get bored. You can't NOT.

But at least you're doing the right thing and quitting. Thats better than ending up like the addicts here....who have snorted so much ddo, it doesn't get them high anymore and they come here to yell at/beg the devs to make it more potent so they can get one...more...fix

But really... Bow out graciously. Thank them for all the good times. It was fun while it lasted
I'm better at DDO than you are
