Guilds and my thoughts on what should be

Friends, Guildies Gamers,
I put before you, and hope that you agree with me at least in part, on the direction that guilds should be taken.
I know player housing is already in the works, but for me, I would like to see Guild Islands.
Let us purchase a copy of 3Barrel Cove or something.
A place where we could put houses
Where guilds have their own wilderness area, blacksmith shops for special tweaks to items, a school where casters could improve their abilities....maybe a crafting hall where a little bit better item or a little lower ML could be crafted...but only worn by guild members, (adds value to your guild member who worked so hard to raise his crafting level.)
There is a lot of room for ideas with a system like this, and considering what the players gladly paid for a high level ship, I think it would be a safe bet that Turbine would benefit from it as well.

I will not flame.

While I do not like the idea of "player housing" too much - thinking of UO as a bad example of housing destroying the landscape - I would love to see a big upturn for guilds to get more than just the ever increasing ship space. I would especially love to see either longer persisting or better buffs (+3 and +4 stat artefacts) and perhaps a new or better guild bank space or more bankspace for guild members or something alike this.

And please give us back the guild stats boards.
