Default Help me re-build my 32pt Dwarf

Brought a Dwarf Stalwart Defender (w/Pally splash) to lvl 20 a while ago - coming back to him after the enhancement revamp, but realizing that SD is not working out very well. He has 800+ HP and 110+ AC and ~80 PRR - and he still gets about 1/3 to 1/2 HP drain when fighting a single cluster of drow. He also plays in a static group, which was low on offense. The group has a dedicated healer, so he does not need to be self-sufficient, but certainly needs healing amp. (Just picked up the Purple Dragon Knight - uhm - gloves is it?)

So - I am looking to possibly re-roll him and I am looking for ideas from those who live more deeply in build-crafting. Some things to know:
    - I have 32 pt builds available
    - I have Favored Soul available
    - I have Monk available (already have a Thief Acrobat w/Monk)
    - I have +2 tomes for pretty much every stat (I think), but none higher
    - don't like playing robots (its a flavor thing)
    - I'd *like* to have a melee character that is different than the acrobat/monk. (The acrobat relies on dodge and concealment/incorp for survivability - but what alternative is there other than getting AC to higher levels that what I already have on the SD?)

I was looking into Kensai - and dual wielding dwarven axes (since I already have a bunch), but was not sure what to mix with him - perhaps 6 lvls of Monk, but then he starts to feel like the acrobat (which has 6 lvl of Monk for 25% concealment). I also looked into Eldritch Knight , as it sounded really fun and interesting, but then realized what a very poor enhancement tree that is. I was also looking at Warpriest (via FvS or maybe even Cleric). I haven't tried to play Tempest since the enhancements pass, so I don't know how that would fit in these days. (Many fighter lvls means plenty of feats for TWF.)

I'd still like to be melee, in the middle of the fight, so going Kensai seems like it might not have enough defense to survive in there. A Kensai (12) Monk (6) Pally (2) seems to run out of stat points, since pretty much all stats are important.

    Any ideas are welcome.

    TIA
