Getting freaky with PDK

Preface:
I'm building a Purple Dragon Knight dps'r who can also burst and vortex.
Main stat will be Charisma.
Split is going to be *levels of fightertypes and *levels of Wizard

Question:
how does DI energy burst decide which stat to utilize between Charisma and intelligence?

My worry is that it will use my lesser stat of Intelligence because its looking at the wizard class.

I think that spells and SLAs use the higher stat of the caster at the time of casting. Checking the amount of levels of specific classes for a spell that can be used by any and uses character level (instead of class' levels) would be redundant/pointless.

thanks for your time I_was_Whesper ...I think you're right on. After I posted I began expanding my sample to Paladins with energy burst, or Bards, Rogues, etc. It absolutely doesn't makes sense to look at a class when factoring this.

That said, I'm ready to eat my words :P ...I went forward with the build immediately after posting. I'll re-post if it's other than your thought.
