I find it fascinating that you aren't exactly sure if the person that played said character in the picture (of your own guild) was or was not Paul Walker. Thanks for using a person's own death to bring light to your guild. /thumbsup

IMO:

Anyone who speaks ill of the dead, regardless of who they are, has it done in poor taste. Welcome to disagree.

However, to argue that they were a great person, simply to make yourself look good by speaking well about someone can be just as poor. Not saying anyone is doing that, but just think about it.

I will agree that grieving for someone is appropriate, however doing it in good taste should be required. To do it in bad taste, just simply shows the truth of how true your words actually are spoken.

EI. I would not go to Paul Walker's funeral and chat about DDO any more than I would go on DDO "game" forums and chat about Paul Walker's death. You get the picture.

Boy racers killing themselves is hardly a new thing. Completely their own fault too. They could easily have gone and rented an entire racetrack for the day if they wanted. And even if they had crashed at that speed they probably would still be alive (though very sore).

He starred in movies that glamorized dangerous driving and inspired countless young men to act like idiots behind the wheel. Ironically, he died because he and the late driver of his crashed car bought into the irresponsible and moronic messages that the Fast and Furious movies propagated.

It's a tragedy when anyone dies, but there are only a couple things that anybody should take out of any of this: Automobiles are extremely dangerous and should be taken seriously, and those movies should have never been made.

The damage seen is very consistent with a moderate speed crash with ensuing fire. 80% of the damage you see in the photos is from the fire that occurred after the crash. You can tell that the car wasn't going 120 (or anywhere NEAR that speed) due to the fact that it's still in one piece....

And the conclusions agree with most people who said it was obvious that speed was the major issue. Tragic and stupid and needless event. And it wont do anything to change the mind of the other boy racers out there who would respond to this with "yeah, but he wasnt cut out for street racing. I am."

Point 2: Disagree. The first thing to look at in that direction are the school systems that took Driver's Education out of the required curriculum. Every year we're taking new sets of teenagers, handing them 2000+ lb weapons, and turning them loose on the roads.
