An odd, off-the-cuff thought is that a lot of your work from your site is much better than the stuff that sells at the local Ren Fests in the States. I would think there is a opportunity there for you if that is your passion.

^_^ Thanks. Actually, I may not be at Fests and Cons, but I do actually run a successful adoptable/virtual pet that takes up tons of my art time. I love my work with it, but art for a living is overtime hours with less then minimum wage pay... but when you love your work you do it.

And it's obviously just me. No worries, though - it frequently is. And, as I said, it really is fabulous work.

Heh, I'm the exact opposite. My hubby and I crazy love Festivult (it's our favourite DDO holiday, we look forward to it all year), and when I saw the snow in Eveningstar pop up this year I made some loud happy exclamation noises going 'Oh! OH OH!!! SNOW!!! It's snowing in Eveningstar!!'. XD I kept calling it out to my husband in excitement. lol
It's too bad that most of the Forgotten Realms/Toril Midwinter holidays are dark things, like the Malar hunt, and the main Shevarash holy day where they practice being even more hateful and sad yelling out their vows to never laugh or smile. :-/
Many people put the Eilistraeean Hunts during the Solstices and Equinoxes where the priestesses hunt down a dangerous beast wearing nothing and only wielding a sword. (Although I don't know if she's in the DDO version of FR, she's not in the canon version... save that one of the cut parts for the Menzoberanzan book had a part of Eilistraee and Vhaeraun making a return, hiding out and protecting the drow wanting to rebel against Lolth.)
Hmm, maybe on the 21rst I should have Phaeshalee do a nekid run armed only with her swords. ^_^
