Another reincarnation rant

I have only attempted reincarnation twice - both from the freebies we got with various updates, and both on the same character. I knew about confusion about the various types - and I noticed the extra descriptions for these types when I went in-game to do it. I *thought* I understood what I was about to do, but that did not stop me from completely breaking my epic level character.

I have a Thief Acrobat. In the epic destinies, you can end up needing only DEX for both attack and damage modifiers, so I figured I did not need STR anymore. ( I don't use trip.) I used the lesser heart of wood given out recently. When I re-allocated stat points, I forgot about the STR prerequisites for some feats (such as Power Attack --> Cleave --> Greater Cleave). "Oh well" I thought. "I can still make this work - I'll just go about it in a different way."

I went through all the steps, got to the end, and then realized that lesser reincarnation does not give you your epic levels back. I am stuck at level 20 now, when the regular group I play with is all at 24 (which is where I *was*.). I am screwed. I don't see any way to get back to what I was before. I did not see anything in the "new" reincarnation descriptions that said anything about reincarnation not working for epic levels. (Is it in there? I admit - I did not read every word on those descriptions because I *thought* I already knew what I needed to know.)

Is there anything that lets you go back to the full epic levels you once were?

So may things about this game that frustrate. This may be the last straw . . .

You shouldn't have been able to leave the reincarnation ship until leveling all the way to were you were before. The captain shouldn't have had an option to allow you to leave the ship until you re-gained all those levels. Put in a ticket if this is in fact what happened.

Did you try going to an epic trainer and asking to increase to the next epic level(s)?

If that doesn't work, put in a bug report and a ticket.
