Connection to Server Lost

From reading this thread I noticed I'm not the only person having this problem.
Game loads up, character selection, pick one, and then your stuck on the loading screen. Restart, same.
BUT.
You pick another character, get in, play for a half-hour or so, and then zone in to an area, stuck again on Loading...Please wait...
and on it goes.
Anyway, I reported this, got an email the next day saying they were aware of the problem and were looking into it. Not really holding my breath for a quick solution here, but hopeful. That they acknowledge there's a problem is at least a step in the right direction.

im also having this problem a log in my character succesfully then poof server connection lost , but in my case it later fades after 2 attempts logging in and its happening every day

Unfortunately none of the suggested fixes have worked for me on a consistent basis. The problem still rears it ugly head. I've even clean installed. Glad at least some people are getting help though.

I also, too, as well am, in addition, also having this issue as well.

I started having this problem today. Never had the issue before.
Tried the fixes I saw elsewhere - nothing helps.
I get the Loading Please Wait when changing zones - then I time out. Trying to use that character again just gets Loading Please Wait after character selection.

I can log-in with another character, play for a while until that character gets a Loading Please Wait.

I've been playing this game on the same computer for years - now I all of a sudden have issues?????????????

Similar issue, right now. Similar geographic location. Logged in with a character, attempted to head to House K. Stuck at a loading please wait till disconnection.

Relogged with the same character, got the same result.

Swapped character and loaded fine.

Tried first character again, no dice.

Every so often the initial client connection is slow.

Interesting thing is...

I clicked Transport to Eberron and was able to load the first character in the Hall of Heroes. I can run through the Marketplace just fine. The moment I attempt to enter house K I get stuck at loading please wait until disconnection.

Try loading at the Hall of Heroes to see if you can at least get your character back accessible.

With starting at the Hall of Heroes, I have been able to transition to Harbor, Market, House D, House J, House C, Catacombs just fine. Not successful yet with House K.

i know last night my server was just bad, 2,3 second pauses. my group was all having the same issues. some might be from the games (shocker) but i would still want to blame the discount cloud servers they have

Funny thing is, I have no problem entering the Harbor which is a multi-instance harbor right now.

I'm wondering if it is aftershock from the Frozen Bank. ^^

Also btw, the portal to the Risia Games in the Hall of Heroes works.

I had similar problems in the past. Changed to a SSD drive a few months ago and somehow the problem disappeared. Not sure if I just got lucky or if this was really the cure for my troubles.

It isn't a case of disk access speed. Part of experiment the next was swapping areas and heading out into the desert. I was first out the gate and was able to access the desert fine. A guildie of mine, who was waiting in house K, ran into the connection timeout when attempting to join me in the Sands of Menechtarun slayer area.

So as previously stated. This is not a case of speed of access of non-volatile storage.

I have collapsed the slayer area with a reset to see if that pulls him out of connection problems.

I do remember when this happened last time, there were some settings that Tolero or Cordovan had to mess with and that prompted a reboot of the game servers (thinking around the early teens of December 2013).

So I wonder if those per server settings changes were unset and need to be re-applied. They were specific to zone changing timeouts.
