Default My animal companion is broken

So I recently purchased the druid class and lesser +20 one of my characters into a druid. I set my character's enhancements and after figuring out how to bring up the character window for my animal companion tried to do the same for it. The only problem is that the enhancement page for my companion is blank. Is there something I am doing wrong or is my companion broken?

Also how are you gearing out your epic druids? I've been able to patch together a functional setup for now with mostly challenges gear, a sacrificial dagger and a wall of wood. This is on a lv21 pure Druid, in winter wolf form.

What weapon and armor do you find most useful for your animal companion?

Talk to a druid trainer and ask him to train your pet enhancements; as a side note, pets still get the old-fashioned UI.
On Thelanis: Hallelujah (EK wraith) - Jerryrigged Juggernaut (Fiend Warlock) - Sepulchral (Druid) - Chopchopchop (Monk) - Alleyshadow (retired gimped monkcher). Formerly on Keeper : Misericordia (Thug) - Mumbo Jumbo (Battle Caster) - Infernal Can (WF Kinda Cleric) - Halleluyah (Melee Spellsinger).

The wolf can wear collars as weapons and light or medium Armor (with the same restrictions like the Druid, so non-metal ones only). You get collars as quest rewards or you can craft them with Handwraps + either the Trap-parts a min Level 4 Rogue/Artificer gets from disabled trap boxes or greater elemental essences at the free agents crafting device in the harbor.
You can also convert named Handwraps into Collars. You can disjunct Collars but you can't craft anything on them. If you want crafted ones, first craft Handwraps of your choice and then convert them.

What the most useful Weapon and Armor for your Companion is, depends on whether you train it to be more stealthy or more tanky. And the Companion is always a melee fighter, so different items for different enemies might be useful. (except Ghostbane, which seems to be good for everyting of course ;-) )

    Default Old UI

Yup, the old UI for pets has to be the worst part of the whole enhancement pass. Every time I do something with my pets it just seems awful compared to the character enhancement trees.

I'm really hoping for an upgrade eventually!
