Why isn't there some sort of DDO Dating website, like OkCupid or some such? I think it'd be a big hit. I'm randomly running into people that play in Colorado, why not work up something like Gaming Dating? Just wanted to see what people thought of this. Maybe some programmer out there knows how to pull it off...

While more than a few people have met their future mates in games (here and elsewhere), setting something up specifically for such a reason would lead to all sorts of problems. People taking advantage of others, etc.

Concept of gamers-meeting-gamers? Cool.
Reality of a site for it? Likely not so much so in practice.

I grew up and started playing when I lived in Castle Rock. Moved a bit further south now (NM) but I am back in D-town quite often.

Personally, I don't think a dating site would work. Half the people I run into in-game, I want to punch in the face. (I never would but it's tempting)

That did NOT end well. At all.

There's just something creepy about environments where it's 90% males, 10% females and of the men, 50% are basement-dwelling social inepts. (Exaggeration, but maybe not by all that much)
