    Post AA Wraith (12wiz|6rng|2mnk)

    *** AA Wraith (12wiz|6rng|2mnk) ***

    This build is meant to be a mostly a flavor build. Obviously not the most amazing aa build. It's just something fun and different to play, while trying to be as viable as possible. I made it as a future TR project for myself. Since I spent a while planning it, and I think it's neat, I thought I'd share it. Perhaps someone might want to use it or give input or laugh. I'm only playing a 34pt, dex based, WF version at the moment. The Idea is to float around in Wraith form + Earth stance and pew pew monsters, while enjoying constant self healing via death aura, and 25% incorporeality. You get Max/Quickened Neg Energy Burst for bigger heals if you need them. For buffs you have extended displacement, haste, GH, Ram's might, Tenser's, and more. Definitely sweet for the neglected alt without Greensteel clickies. 12 wiz gets some other useful spells like ddoor and teleport as well. Then, wraith form also gives an additional +20 balance/move silent, 100%fort, and ghost touch. For Ability Raises and Skills see the Character Planner box at the bottom.

    * Human, Lawful Neutral. 12 Wizard | 6 Ranger | 2 Monk.
    • Human: Extra feat, skill points, action boosts, surges
    • Wizard: Buffs, shroud of the Wraith, undead self heals
    • Ranger: Bunch of free feats, general survivability from being ranged
    • Monk: Stances, evasion, 2 feats

    • STR:16 +3tome + 6lvl + 1human + 2rams(size) + 5scream + 10enh + 2ins + 1exp + 2ship + 2yugo + 4tenser + 3surge + 3ED + 2profane=62
    • DEX:17 +3tome - 2earth + 1lvl + 1human + 2AA + 8enh + 2ins + 1exp + 2ship(art) + 2yugo + 4tenser(alchem) + 3surge=44
    • CON:13 +3tome + 4earth + 2PM + 10enh + 3ins + 1exp + 2ship(art) + 2yugo + 4tenser(alchem) + 2ED + 5scream(morale)=51
    • INT:13 +3tome + 7enh + 1exp + 2ship(art)=26
    • WIS:11 +3tome + 7enh + 1exp + 2ship(art)=24

    With +3tomes for all stats, or better if ya have 'em. Adjust starting stats accordingly.

    I tried a few builds like this on lamania before. They had 1 major weakness. The self healing was way too expensive for a very limited SP pool (and they hit for some really low amounts too, even with 136 Nullification slotted). Other than that, the builds were ok, but the self healing issue was critical to me and I never decided to roll one on live server.

    I see. I did have concordant opposition and Halcyon boots in the gear; I realize, however, these wouldn't be too effective with displacement/incorporeality. The boots never seemed impressive anyway lol. Moonbow from the AA tree seemed kinda nice if you can cast quickly to use the temp sp. As for the low heals, I was concerned that that might be the case. I was hoping with a high miss chance and death aura going it might not need many huge burst heals :/ Haven't built it on lamania myself though (neglected alt is missing tomes). Thanks for the input sir.

    Cool build!

    What do u think about using the Wiz Repairs if you are warforged vs the Undead healing? Is the undead healing better?
    How about sacrificing the OC for 6 monk levels & 10k stars?

    6 monk would get shadow veil to make up for the loss of wraith form incorporeality, and WF gets the fortification + toughness. You lose all the human boosts/surges. And then it'd be 8wiz/6monk/6rng, which loses the flavor build aspect of wraith form (need 12 wiz). You'd only get repair critical for heals, which isn't terrible, but no reconstruct. Yeah, there's bladeforged for the sla, but at this point it's already a different build.
