    Question Improved finesse lich, feedback please!

    I have been working on making a pale master that has close to highest possible dcs and also semi decent melee skills. I think i may finally be getting close with this...

    8 remaining enhancement points go into eldritch knight for first two core abilitys, hp, and martial training for doublestrike. Only important gear for you guys to know about is main hand balizarde and off hand eh or ee nether orb necro focus. This toon is 3rd life with 2 wizard past lives. Planning to go dreadnaught with energy burst, necro dcs, and int twisted in. Any constructive feedback is appreciated. Also a kind of important question... If I'm wielding balizarde and orb do i need two weapon fighting to avoid penalties or is it like using a one handed weapon and a shield?

    orbs are treated as shields with a AC bonus of 0. This goes for feats as well... (shield mastery for example)

    Clever idea using rgr 2 to get Imp Weap Finesse; however I'm not convinced it's worth it. Your DEX is only 4 pts higher than STR; that's easily compensated for thru Rage spell, Tensers, etc. Plus any build which starts below CON 12 makes me wince, even if you did take a +5 CON tome. Plus you may have near-max DCs, but I don't see any metamagics like Maximize.

    Maybe if you were going for TWF and/or Manyshot as well I could see the appeal of rgr 2 splash; otherwise I'd think you'd be better off w/rog or ftr 2 splash and skipping Finesse.

    Or monk, which begs the question can you be centred with an orb in your off-hand? (celestia+orb).

    Your right ungongwah, no idea why i wanted finesse in the first place. I was exhausted when i made this so apologies. Anyway iv been thinking and iv come up with a slight variation. Cant use character builder since it doesn't work with tred iconics but here is the rough sketch that i made on paper.

    18wiz/2monk lred morninglord(3rd life)
