    Default Solo oriented multi-life build.

I'm currently running a barb life with the plan being to end up with 12 brb/6clr/2rog. TWF human with longswords and self healing through radiant servant. Heroic level traps should be very doable with some crafted trapping gear and heroism pot.

So far it seems to be working pretty well. If it continues to be good through to 20, I'm thinking of keeping the 6 cleric and 2 rogue levels and swapping out the 12 barb for any of the other melee classes such as pally, ranger, or fighter.

The idea is of course to maximize the use of gear across as many lives as possible. If the 6clr/2rog performs well, is there any reason to change up the level distribution? I admit to not knowing much about ranger/pal/fgt under the post U19 enhancements, but level 12 seems to be a key level for the enhancement tree.

For someone who's interested in mostly solo levelling through heroic content using the same gear, is there anything overly bad about this plan?

    not a thing, perfectly solid.

however it can be improved upon, in several different ways.

    1. use fvs instead of cleric, you'll have better saves
    2. use warpriest instead of radiant servant, you'll find ameliorating strike offers better healing than the bursts at higher levels, doesn't require meta-magics to be effective, and if you're twf it can proc on off hand strikes as well, doubling your healing from each strike.
    3. having gone the way of the warpriest, you might want to consider going 5/3 instead of 6/2. more skill points and sneak attack damage is always welcome.

for that sort of build I would make 2 gs weapons, a rad2 (main hand, blinds on crits) and a pos3 (holy/good/+30% heal amp) and use a DT leather armor (10%/20%/ Destruction). you should be seeing around 140-150 heals per hit with that setup and ameliorating strike. the rad2 would also add to your survivability.

now, if you're willing to consider a different platform, I would recommend going 5 rogue halfling, using quarterstaffs and the healing dragonmark. you'll have great saves, good healing, and the qstaff damage is by far better than that of the twf setup.
if you feel more self healing is needed, you can add 4 fvs levels and pick up ameliorating strike from the warpriest tree.
so 5 rogue / 4 fvs / 11 whatever melee you want. you'll be rolling.

    hope this helps.

I looked at FvS, but wasnt sure if I was comfortable relying on an attack for heals. The Radiant Servant has the benefit of bursts for cleansing negative lvls and seems like more access to heals regardless of level.

i had actually considered the 5/3 split, but I want to wait and see how things perform. I might even end up as 11/6/3, since I don't spend much time in epic content before TRing.

Do whatever enhancements you get out of halfling rogue make up for the extra feat, skill points, and healing amp from human? Is there a warpriest faith for halflings to use Qstaff?

Google "pastlifenmo", not sure where it was posted. Use shortswords instead of kamas though.

Totally. don't even worry about it. halflings also get a way to remove neg levels, better saves, higher dex, more sneak attack damage, all sorts of goodies.

no. if going for the qstaff build forget the whole notion of faith weapons. you'll get your weapon bonuses from the acrobat tree, and you'll do far more damage than you would with faith weapons.

I do not have access to druid currently. I just subbed VIP for a single month just to slam out a life real quick, but not permanent access. In all honestly, I was not overly impressed with druid. Maybe it's just not my playstyle.
