Default A Change Coming? Build Question

My level 24 mutt (currently 12 Ranger/6 Fighter/ 2 Rogue) is one of my best DPS characters. Partially I discovered how fun the Fury of the Wild was! My character simply became a powerhouse!

Alright, I have been playing him a bit more again over the past two weeks and now that I am more familiar with the enhancement trees from U19, I am convinced I need a change to optimize him.

My thought is to go 9 Ranger/8 Fighter/ 3 Rogue. This will allow me to get to the top of the Kensai tree so that he can be centered using Khopeshes which sounds like a really fun place to be especially as I make my way over the GMoF. The top of that tree seems darn good on its own even!

I lose out on GTWF which I would have to take as a fighter. I also would now take the two Cleave feats to allow OC (seems worth it). I guess I lose out on IPS, but since I tend to mostly burst range damage on bosses, this seems okay.

Before I take the dive and use my LR+20 stone, I wanted to see if anyone has any other thoughts or if I am missing anything obvious. Note that I want to keep the Rogue levels for full disabling capability. I thought taking the third level of Rogue worthwhile since I am losing skill points from less Ranger levels.

Thanks for any help and thoughts!

Honestly GMoF doesn't have anything exciting enough to offer either of these builds to make it worth redesigning your build to be centered.

    Default What about?

The extra dice damage (1.5x I think?) on the first tier which could be twisted in pretty easily? Seems like that extra damage is always nice to have.

To a lesser degree, it would make off-destiny more palatable?

You will need monk levels to make use of the centered kensai and take the stances for the +1 crit multiplier, you have a fine build atm, I would try out other trees before you do anything drastic...

without monk stances, being centered isn't worth it.

As others mentioned, you can't be centered without being a monk. What you're looking to do is basically the build I'm running right now, my Ginsu build.

In your case I might use the 11r/8f/1m variant which gets you level 3 ranger spells, all the free feats from ranger, 1 monk for monk stances (also 1 free feat), evasion from ranger, centered + keen edge from kensei. I'm playing the 12f/6r/2m variation for power surge + stunning blow. It's a bit more DPS at the cost of some self-sufficiency, but I run him exclusively with a friend playing a druid so I chose that route. The 11 ranger variant doesn't have to qualify for feats you get automatically so it's a bit easier to allocate pts, and caster level 11 gets max benefit from elemental resist and jump spells + some moderate self healing and access to empower heal if you want it to power cure moderate and cocoon. Definitely go STR based with cleaves and OC.

If you can bear to give up UMD & trap skills, rgr 12 / ftr 8 is a solid combo: Keen Edge, 100% offhand procs, pick up Emp Heal+Rejuv Cocoon to cover most of your healing needs, while keeping Manyshot + IPS.

Alternatively, consider a rog 5+ build, switch to daggers - yes, daggers - and pick up Knife Specialization from Assassin tree; equip a pair of Sacrificial Daggers or Agonies.
