    Default Tempest sucks

Other than the low-hanging fruit this entire tree is weaksauce.

Tried out being mostly tempest for two weeks an a toon that was mostly AA then switched back to her normal "melee mutt" build. Dumping the Tempest stuff down just enough APs to get 90% off-hand and hast boost . . . the DPS loss for gaining back the slayer arrows is so little (EE Sobrien melee beat-down times went up be 2 seconds) that I cannot say a high investment in Tempest at all is worth it.

The upper teir stuff . . . all ****. I've never noticed having improved evasion or not . . . 1000 cuts sucks, etc . . . all the top end stuff is so bad.

I'm not sure what to do to fix it either.

Set it on fire, feed the ashes to the wolves and set the wolves on fire.

After you feed them bard and paladin trees.
Ghallanda - now with fewer alts and more ghostbane

RANGER doesn't suck . . . you can slap together a mutt-build that's pretty strong with a little from each of the trees. I'm not sure that's a good justification for makeing the high-end of tempest bad.

And that makes ranger different than Bard and Pally

Spellsinger gets a nerf. Thankfully, everyone has their Eyld Edge already ... right?

yes. it needs to be juiced up with more ways to boost damage. theres not enough good damage boosting enhancements and too many different ways for survivability. I really wish we could have class enhancements. if I want to focus on 1 prestige, why do I need to pick enhancements and level through the other 2 to get what every Ranger type should have anyways? if I want the favored enemy line, I have to level through DWS. for more spell points, I have to get it from AA.

You are the one choosing not to play alts.

Casual player now investing way less than I used to into the game, playing 1-3 months at a time and still want nothing to do with Reaper. #improvepuggrouping#alldifficultiesmatter

Can I have you talk to my son. His favorite toon is a Tempest with heavy AP investment in the tree, primarily for the long-CD short duration attacks. I can't talk him out of it either...he's smitten with it. He's also 9 years old which is about the only audience to which the upper tiers of Tempest looks attractive.
