It's because the server can't handle the millions of logins in the same time.

Seriously, how competent a company, when their solution for a problem is a server RESTART...

So, my car is broken, if I try to reignite it, and somehow I manage to restart the engine, it won't break again, right?

We should love how they solve a problem WITHOUT identifying it.

welll then .... there are other servers than cannith, until this has been adressed at least w a dev note in the forums.
but even there I have been dismissed feequently from server in the midst of quests because the connection considered me logging in on cannith.
certainly beats the old desert-entrance bug to several degrees ^^. At least that was triggered by an identifiable action(entering desert)...

The reason is that we got too many companions, trash them ^^

Only able to log in after a few tries by loading into either ebberon or forgotten realms in character list. Soon as you load to change to quest or area almost 50per chance or greater to lose server.

I called the support line and they think Cannith is working now ... anyone can confirm?

It's still the same. If you are lucky, you get a working instance, if not, you are stuck until you relog/wait 5 minutes and get a working one. It's unplayable. You get to explorer area, clean to the quest, try to enter - stuck. Then after relog, you are back outside the explorer area. I just finished a quest and got stuck while leaving so it's still happening.
