i was thinking how cool it would be if we could be the dungeon master is one of the coolest parts of table top and would be a really neat way to expand dungeon and dragons online

erm...I think that's called "getting a job at Turbine"...
How exactly would you create your own dungeons and campaigns in an MMO? And even in PnP, you have a problem when a DM is too generous - in an MMO setting, that translates to people exploiting the "Be a DM" mechanic for every possible advantage it would give.
