    Default The eldritch soul

Note: will update with full details when i get home & remember where i stashed my notes

    Bladeforged 12 Favoured Soul / 6 wizard / 2 fighter

Overall concept: Sturdy self healing & buffing melee with a slightly different flavour. Primarily greatsword user to get the faith bonuses including spellcasting implement which will boost power of the smite-type attacks. Able to combine Tensers & Bladesworn transformation for extra boost when needed.

    Starting stats:

    Feats:

Heroic: PA, Cleave, G.Cleave, IC:Slashing, Toughness, Adamantine Body, Quicken, Extend, Empower Healing, 2HF, i2HF
Epic: Overwhelming Criticals, epic toughness, ruin (to hit things at range)
Epic destiny feats: perfect 2hf, guardian angel (for those emergency "shields up!" moments).

    Enhancements:
AoV: (7AP) Font of power, 2xScourge, 2xAnimus, Articles of Faith.
Warpriest: (25AP) Smite Foe, resilience of battle, sanctuary, war domain:Blur, 3xDivine Might, 4xRighteous weapons, 3xtoughness, smite weakness, 3xWall of steel, Ameliorating Strike
    Racial: (11AP) 3xcommunion of scribing, 1xImp. fortification
Eldritch Knight: (37AP) Eldritch Strike, 2xSpellsword, 3xImp. mage armour, 3ximp. shield, 3xtoughness, 3xArcane Barrier, Tensers Transformation, 3xEldritch Tempest

Destiny stuff - primarily running in dreadnaught, with energy burst, cocoon & primal scream twisted.

A similar build could work well for a fleshy type too, though the faith-based weapons wouldn't necessarily be such a big thing, and it could be adapted to a 2wf build too.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

An alternate option to that is you could give up THF/ITHF and go Sorcerer instead of Wizard. With that you can take more Charisma and Divine Might, leading to more DPS and a larger SP pool.

why 2 fighter instead of 2 monk? Monk gives 2 feats you are taking (PA, 2HF) and evasion + stances.

Considered it, but I'd lose a few spells & still have to have the INT to keep up skillpoints in Heal, Spellcraft, Repair, Concentration & a bit of balance... as it is, i'm actually considering just a single fighter level & 7th wizard level instead so i can have Fireshield (boosted by extend, instead of relying on scrolls which will need switching etc. far too often) & dimension door.

    Because
    a) I won't be centered wielding greatswords or most other 2handers that i might want (sireth is an exception), but then i'd lose the implement bonus to spellpower (3 spellpower per +1 enhancement bonus, and any greatsword i use is +4 higher thanks to righteous weapons.. eSoS if i got it would give me +42 implement bonus to spellpower, thats not too shabby) to boost the healing & damage AoEs.
    b) I want as much PRR as i can cram on him, since even with mithral body dodge would be capped at 5% since unlike other high-level light armours, it's max dex bonus isn't increased at higher levels.
    c) His dex is completely tanked, so evasion would be virtually worthless anyway.

    a) You only need to be centered for the stances, feats and evasion will still work. So use the weapon u prefer.
    b) body feats are bugged and gives less PPR that fleshie armors
    c) You add charisma to saves....

Despite less PRR than fleshy armours, it's still more than not having the body feat. Charisma to saves come from 2 paladin levels, this guy has none.

Updating the build to have paladin levels instead of fighter.. much as the 2hander feats are nice, it'll still deal good damage & this way will be more resilient vs. spells, especially when MRR is introduced too.
