    Default Pure Repeater Damage - Shadar-kai 10 Rogue / 6 Ranger / 4 Artificer

    Slaying Arrows from Arcane Archer,
    Endless Fusillade from Battle Engineer,
Sniper Shot and Aimed Shot from Deepwood Sniper,
and a handful of Sneak Attack + Improved Evasion + Int to Crossbow Damage from Rogue.

OC: Ranged is taken along with all ranged feats.

Destiny of choice is Fury with twisted Pin, Otto's and (somewhat discretionarily since you're ranged and have UMD and some scroll mastery) Cocoon.

That's the build in a nutshell.

Enhancements are what allow this build to be Shadar-kai:
    11 - Mechanic - 50% Scroll Mastery / Int to Damage
    32 - AA - Arrow of Slaying
    24 - BE - Endless Fusillade
    13 - DWS - Aimed Shot + Sniper Shot
    80

Shadar-kai are awful with terrible enhancements relative to their Dex race competitors halfling and drow (but especially halfling)... but there are literally 0 discretionary points! Hooray!

So we can use them for the only things they're good for:
    - skipping levels 1 - 14
    - not being a robot with alarmingly sharp edges in a crowded marketplace
    - getting an inherent Dex bonus for the nearly irrelevant cost of Cha (since we have UMD as a class skill already).

It's worth noting I assume pretty serious tomes - but rejig stat points accordingly if you don't have them since nothing really matters as there are 0 DC dependent abilities. Every MOD of Int, which is, I suppose, the primary stat, is strictly +1 hit and +1 damage per bolt.

Starting Stats (36 point build; for 32 points, just note the minimum thresholds and plan accordingly, dropping Con to 14 or Int even lower as required):
    STR 16 (+3 Level-ups at levels 16,20 and 24, +4 tome) = 23 for Overwhelming Crit qualification at 24.
    CON 16
DEX 16 (+5 tome) = 21 for Combat Archery at 21 and IPS at 15
INT 16 (+4 Level-ups at levels 4,8,12 and 28) to maximize skill points (and crossbow to-hit and damage) until we need to veer off to get Strength for OC: Ranged.
    WIS 8
    CHA 6

1 Rogue 1 Point Blank Shot
    2 Ranger 1
3 Ranger 2 Completionist, [Rapid Shot] <-- If you don't have Completionist I like all of Quickdraw, Lightning Reflexes and Quicken as options.
    4 Ranger 3
    5 Ranger 4 Precise Shot
    6 Ranger 5 Power Attack
    7 Ranger 6
    8 Artificer 1 Rapid Reload, [X-Bow Proficiencies]
9 Artificer 2 Cleave, [Rune Arm Use]
    10 Artificer 3
    11 Rogue 2
    12 Rogue 3 Precision
    13 Rogue 4
    14 Rogue 5
15 Rogue 6 Improved Precise Shot
16 Artificer 4 [IC: Ranged] <-- worth noting that Precision is NOT an Artificer Bonus Feat else it would be here. If you don't have Completionist and opt for Quicken to fill that space, you can move Precision to level 3, IC: Ranged to level 12, and place Quicken here.
    17 Rogue 7
    18 Rogue 8 Great Cleave
    19 Rogue 9
    20 Rogue 10 [Improved Evasion]
    Epic 1 Combat Archery
    Epic 2
    Epic 3
    Epic 4 OC: Ranged
    Epic 5
    Epic 6 Toughness
    Epic 7 Blinding Speed
    Epic 8 Doubleshot

    The AA Disclaimer:
Most AA abilities don't work on crossbows. "Ranged attacks" do though. So Inferno shot, Shattermantle Shot, Dispelling Shot, and Arrow of Slaying are all in. But there's a fair amount of unthrilling filler to hit the 30 AP threshold to take Arrow of Slaying.

    The DWS Justification:
    Headshot ain't all that.
    Mercy shot ain't all that.

Battle Engineer and Mechanic at least speak for themselves I hope.

Skill points are a nightmare due to the different levels of different classes and whatnot. My hot tip is to max traps and UMD and bluff, then go nuts apart from that. If you feeling like a jaunt in Shiradi, I'd max diplo.

    That's about it. Yay Shadar-Kai!

I'm confused, how are you using Slaying Arrows on a "pure repeater" build? Repeaters use Arrows now?

Nay, but Arrow of Slaying works on repeaters. And I suspect every other 'Ranged attack'. The label is wrong.

Should be 'Projectile of 250 damage assuming no critical hits', but that's less catchy.

Wow...I literally just rolled this build a few days ago on one of my character's 3rd life I did decide to go with WF, as she already has a 3rd tier Epic Ring of the Master Artifice...plus I hate being neg leveled. I find that the Greater Auto Repair procs often enough, plus the free Reconstruct is nice. However, it was a tough decision.

She's sitting at level 18.4 right now, without a ton of gear (most waiting for her at 20+). I'd be interested in hearing about your experiences in AA, as that was my original thought; but after playing a her a bit with that AP spread (pretty much identical to yours), I found that my SP pool was decimated quickly. Arrows (Bolts) of Slaying is awesome, but with the SP cost, it was tough to stomach...not to mention needing to allocate 9 AP's to Terror/Paralyzing Arrows was too much investment.

So, I landed on DWS. I haven't really played that much with her either way, so I'm not sure where I will land. I did decided to not go OC, due to the heavy feat/stat investment...hopefully I won't regret it.

To be honest I only rolled TRed into this yesterday, but I am already feeling the spell point concerns.

I thought I'd be using Inferno Shot, Shattermantle Shot and Dispelling Shot as part of my heavy rotation but they're just too expensive (and much weaker than Aimed Shot and Sniper Shot anyway). I also think Dispelling Shot dispels other party members' DoTs but that's a separate complaint.

I'm finding my usual rotation of Aimed Shot, Sniper Shot, then sometimes Arrow of Slaying (if it's off cooldown and I'm fighting something that it won't be too much of a waste on) is SP light enough for heroics. I am using a GS Spell Point item, and do have some caster PLs that add SP too, but I think just one decent Wizardry item would be enough provided I didn't use the other AA shots and either used shrines or was frugal with Arrow of Slaying.

For epics I will try out DWS Tier 5 for the reason of the spell point issue. It's very unfortunate Moonbow, etc, don't work for repeaters, but c'est la vie.

Incidentally, if you're not taking OC: Ranged, I'd be tempted to go a Mental Toughness or two.

    Thumbs up

I made my very first TR following this build with some changes. And it's good, thank you! With Doublecross bow at level 16 it's fantastic.
As this my second life, and still there are quests never done, i kept the very good basis, but wanted it to be more usable at levels below 20. I decided not to invest to strength and OC. That frees quite many feats, and easies progress. I wanted to keep all saves and spot higher and invested to wisdom, with abilities 10/16/16/16/14/6.
Because i don't have yet Epic MGs, i had to recycle past life gear from DEX based rogue with usual feats: weapon finesse, dodge, toughness. I switched quicken to skill focus UMD because low CHR hurt it too much. I can now use stoneskin, heroism and cure critical wounds with occasional failures. Enchantments are for leveling now, and i plan to try AA when enough points are available.
