If it were lowered to two million, would YOU then suddenly have enough karma for all your epic TRs?

Huh? Considering each spheres' karma you chose for the PL is reset after each ER, your not going to instantly have all the karma you need. (god that's a rough sentence to read, doh)

I haven't yet epic TRd, but... as of now, is the max of each sphere 6 million and it then deducts 6 million when you epic TR?

    yes, deducts all 6.

And so what if we have karma left over? you still need to get to 28 and acquire a heart. What it does it cuts out the BS of having to run in off-destinies which is less enjoyable than not playing DDO.

Why do you need to run in off destinies?

Can't you run in your main destiny and get the karma for your main sphere? Or is it when you want arcane sphere stance while on a barb?

Because many people run in fury, which is primal, but want the martial past lives. Or they want the past life that grants PRR. And dreanaught sucks for many builds that like fury. It's not horrendous, I guess, but it does suck. And unyieldling isn't good at all. Either way, it's pretty unfun after a while. I have come down more on the side of it sucks, before I didn't think it would be too bad. But 6 million is too much. 2 or 3 million I could get behind.

To earn karma in an off sphere.

Say I want the +3 Saves from Divine (which I do on my fighter as that's enough to push him over the borderline). I would need to run up two additional 20-28 lives in Sentinel or angel. It's a big sucky bucket of un-fun doing that.

Now I fully understand that earning karma for an EPL in the sphere of that EPL makes sense. it just does. But it sucks. I want it to suck less. Earning 2 million karma for an EPL is the equivelant of re-levelling an ED and is acceptable. 6 million is just too much, I've done it, it's not fun, and I'd rather not play than do it again.

    I . . . and I assume I'm not alone . . . want EPLs that aren't in my main sphere.

It only make sense from a flavor point of view.

From a crunch point of view your paying exp for improvements to your character whats it matter what ED or class your in. Yes I'll go so far as to say they should change the way heroic works too.

The game should strive to make meaningless grind (xp grind) fun and enjoyable artificial barriers to price acquisition such as you have to be in x class or ed are silly and unneeded.

Why try and argue about something you're poorly informed in?

    It's very rude.

Not that I think this, or any other request/protest will have any effect. Many people have been complaining on the forums about how awful it is to level off-destinies (to get across to the destiny you want to be in, unlock twists, or earn fate points) since before MotU went live, and not only has nothing changed, not only has there never been any response on the issue, but they've added another whole system that sucks even worse in some cases, again, despite feedback explaining how much it blows.

And I'm in basically the same boat as you--most of my characters would prefer the Epic Destiny feats from an off-sphere (almost all of them would prefer divine), but I'm not running 6 million XP in that sphere.

As it is, between the grind for 4200 CoV, the grind for 6 million karma in an off-destiny, the pitifully minor benefits of the past life feats, and the non-resetting of quest XP, the only characters that are going to get ETRed are those I plan on heroic TRing, who are at cap, and happen to have enough CoV and karma to do so. Absolutely not going to go out of my way for this ****.

If you want all of the past epic past lives without running in off spheres, just TR into a different build.
Many builds work well with destinies from different spheres: like sorc: shiradi or draconic, and a clonk build: angel or gmof

You have earned 1 Hjealz for this post, redeemable from any of my Hjealers on Orien.

Perhaps english isn't your first language. In case you were wondering, a ? denotes a question. If I was arguing, instead of asking questions, you would know it, and my sentences would likely end in a . (period).

ETA: I'm just gathering information. I would like to see some limiting factor on epic TRing so that it can't be a quick faceroll. The need to gather comms could have been that factor, but then they threw the heart into the store. Having to be level 28 isn't much of a factor because it's incredibly quick to get to level 28. And now that I have more information, I do agree, lower the karma. That isn't a factor either because you can get 6 million karma by the time you're level 28 anyway. So it's just annoying.

Still, I'd like to see something to limit the speed people can get epic TR.

    6.6 million XP isn't enough?

Do you realize there are Pay2winners who are on life 5 already?

I was thinking about it, but I am still leveling and have been running in off destinies to get twists. I am currently working on maxing my main destiny. When I get to 28 i will only have 4 million karma in my main sphere, not enough to ETR at level 28.

Being able to farm the commendations in the destiny of your choice would be a much better option than what we have now, I concur.
Easing the 6 million xp would be a large help to combat the whole "run in a poor destiny for 6 million xp" thing.

Ah. So your solution is to add 12 million XP to the 6 million already required (3 for a TR, 3 for another TR to get back to the character you want to be playing, and another 6 to re-level from 20-28). That's brilliant! Why didn't everyone else think of that!? Nothing says, "This grind isn't a problem," like adding more hoops full of XP to jump through!

So, to make it a bit short, i started at u14 on my clerc to earn some lvls in divine sphere, didnt max angel out and didnt hit lvl 25. I TRed and went for completionist so didnt bother with epc lvls. Now that i started over to do all kinds of TR combined, im atm on druid life. First Thing i realized when i hit 20 is of course: i couldnt start in primal. had to start in angel again. since it was lvl 2, I had to get it to 3 and as u all know, had to run across the spheres to unlock them until primal for primal Avatar. by the time i hit 28 i have 3.5m in primal.
Of course u can always say: its just for this life, next life will be easier, since u unlocked most of em. Or, well, ur fault, should have started with figther or nother divine. But definitly it sucks to be at lvl 28 and grind nother 2.5 m just for Karma. Unlocking any sphere will take u below the 6m mark needed for the shphere ur looking for.
If u want ppl to ETR not that fast, put timer on it. Saying it, is there any other reason for Karma?
