Default Mornh, Hammer of the Mountains vs Braising Star

does Mornh, Hammer of the Mountains beat Braising Star? I want to use maces at end game but I can't decide between Braising Star and Mornh.

I can get seeker 10 from other gear so it comes down to with improved critical:

    Blunt, Adamantine , Magic

    3(1d10) (20%) x3 and (10%) x4
    2% magma surge
    2-12 fracturing

    vs

    Blunt, Piercing, Adamantine, Magic

    2.5(2d6) (20%) x2 and (10%) x3
    Rib cracker (20%) 13-78 and (10%) 13-104
    conflagration 3-18

Mornh has a better multiplier and magma surge, while Braising has more DR attack types and the untyped damage procs a lot with no regard for DR at all.

i might be missing something here but dr piercing?
Thats the cats from atraxia/maze of madness, rather a niche item if you ask me.
Rakshasas have dr piercing and good (wich you can slot in instead of the mabar one)
Brainstar seems rather lackluster compaired to Morhn (IMHO!)

I have a TWF with 2 Mornhs and 2 Braisingstars.
From my Barrage calculations Braisingstar only pulls ahead at higher fort enemies (as long as they are not fire resistant).
Keep in mind you can get the nice set bonus from Mornh if you wear a conflux trinket.
If you run LD Mornh also allows you to use Anvil of Thunder which is pretty awesome.

I personally settled with dual wielding Mornh most of the time.
I switch to Braisingstar offhand against skeletons mainly.
