My take on "the grind": https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post6220972
Ordinary humans have inhibitions that serve as a buffer against what we know is bad behavior.
However, some people, by blaming others for their own bad behavior, develop a thought pattern that allows them to override self-control in order to achieve a selfish end.
- My opinion on exploiters and cheaters blaming SSG for unfair punishment.
I repeated troll's suggestion for yellow augments because yellow slots have very limited/almost no utility. Many of my toons have yellow slots that double for colorless or are simply empty because there aren't any useful augments to put inside those slots. Even with stacking DC augments for casters (too little too late btw) you can only put in immunity augments (which can be covered by spells), striding (if you don't have a quiver), or sp augments. As you listed, blue already has a ton of useful options for any toon and is overloaded.
I'd like to be able to actually use my yellow slots so please consider healing amp as a YELLOW augment. All non-weapon slots should be useful, not just blue.

DPS: If it's not solving all your problems, you simply aren't using enough of it.
Or y'know maybe their job is to actually build, design, make and adjust content first and foremost, not just sit around spoon-feeding ravenous fans every single miniscule tidbit of info so they'll quit gnashing their teeth and attacking the devs and designers with every other breath.
Stop talking sense. You'll ruin my shares in Orville.
@FoS: Already given tailored feedback in the thread this was initially posted at, so I'll simply re-iterate: Decent enough start on 1/3 to 1/4 of the problem, though I certainly hope that from now on a wider view is taken regarding tasking updates to all the loot systems, and not the most common, easily obtained one.
On the newer entries: Can't say I'm in love with going from augs compressing the deltas between schools to yet another raise in expected DCs, but having followed the store-related thread, I can't say I'd really do different.

I don't understand. Why reuse the names given to abilities that were actually awesome? Just use Greater Acid Torrent etc. to avoid confusion.
2% on 250 damage nets for 5 damage on average... not really the 24 that the real tempestuous damage.
Also, righteous is still in use even though it doesn't come on random loot anymore (Antique Greataxe, Alchemical fire-upgrade).
-edit-
I was a bit too negative in my first response. The abilities aren't great but that's not the main problem. The reusing of names from abilities that have nothing to do with these is problematic( especially since the old loot is still around (even if it doesn't drop anymore).
The english dictionary is full of words, and creative prefix-suffixing works as well.

FoS just trolled the forum folks making them think he would do a daily report on his progress for U21.
Ohh. Looks like we got an update! The new cosmetics look great! Thanks Feather!

So Feather, are you still working on loot, or did you get replaced by the new guy?

I guess weekly means something different to some people.
