    Default Shifther race

I think that more races will be great! and the Shifter its one =D

The druid its on the game, why not a race that can shift too?

    It has
    +2 Dexterity, -2 Intelligence, -2 Charisma

    You can Shift
Shifting gives you a +2 bonus to one of your physical abilities scores. It lasts only a few rounds (like a barbarian's rage), but it lasts one additional round per Shifter racial feat you select.

And theres a lot of shifter feats, that combine with the form you choose.

+1 to the Shifter race, but with some modifications.

Shifting isn't merely a temporary boost to a single ability score; it also grants a secondary benefit. For example, Razorclaw grants claws, Longtooth grants a bite attack, Beasthide grants natural armor, and Dreamsight grants a measure of improved sight (such as See Invisibility).

Most of the Shifter feats would be turned into Enhancements, though. I can easily see Healing Factor, Shifter Savagery, Shifter Defense and others as enhancements.

The key is how to work Shifting per-se: there's no excuse given that Wild Shape exists, but aside from Beasthide and Dreamsight (and maybe Longstride?), the others are difficult to translate. Razorclaw could work as a booster to unarmed strike attacks (your US deal 1d6 slashing damage instead of 1d3 bludgeoning), Beasthide could provide natural armor as usual, Longstride would provide its movement speed increase as usual, Dreamsight would grant a strong bonus to Search and Spot checks (a +10 would suffice). With those four, you can get a Strength option (Razorclaw), a Constitution option (Beasthide), a Dexterity option (Longstride) and a Wisdom option (Dreamsight). The Core Enhancements would improve the ability score bonus gained through Shifting, and maybe grant more daily uses; the Tier-based enhancements could provide the benefits other feats provide. The one feat I suspect could remain is Extra Shifter Trait, which you can choose only once and grants a second Shifter trait (though you can't activate both at once).

Surprisingly enough, while the Ranger is the favored class of a Shifter, they make surprisingly good Monks (note how the four ability scores they cover are exactly the ability scores improved by the stances) and Druids, as mentioned before (in fact, the Moonspeaker should be an Iconic). Strangely enough, Rangers would be a close third (but not that close). They also make phenomenally good Barbarians (Beasthide works well as a "defensive" buff, compensating for the Rage penalties).
